How is this relevant? Give me some hard numbers, not anecdotal crap. And not some puny data set, either.
Hadley's too fubared to make past analogs viable. Just getting the daily max into the low 60s was a miracle. That's how far gone it has become.

Once we get into winter with Nina atmospheric response, all those pretty colors will be transposed.
I strongly doubt it man. They will just end up stuck in Greenland with a raging positive NAO. Nothing kills winter faster than cold Octobers.

That's how they do it down there. It's the deep south done right.

We are much more humid than colorado!
having these PWATS at 40N is kind of ridiculous. It's the only place in the world with such conditions.

Dry is good. No significant rain for the next 5 days would be wonderful.
The soup kitchen is gone at last but will it return? You don't need need rain for that.... this region is nutty but nothing like Colorado I suppose.

Dang this is underrated. We were under a marginal risk but the instability is there for a memorable QLCS.

Verbatim the solution would play out like the Vagabond Hurricane (1903) only with a very late recurve near the coast. Pretty much a track never encountered in the modern record.

Out of Texas if I remember right. Private planes hired to seed Harvey were on some local news before the floods and news dropped the stories quickly once the devastation started.
Didn't work out too well for them. Looks like a repeat of project stormfury.

Can we not have meteorologists talking about weather modification in here?

IF global warming is causing a loss of the ice and going to be catastrophic, why are show many here openly HOPING it is happening?
Good question brother but is way beyond the scope of arctic sea ice discussion. To bring some closure we were already on a bad path with or without global warming.

I remember squall lines (haven’t heard that term in ages), with severe thunderstorm watch boxes stretching from New England to NC.
We still get them just in Spring and Fall. Probably more so fall in regards to the classic squall.

Born in 99. I've never ”played in snow” like the movies and culture shows. It already happened. Only doubled now with social media.
Go play in the warm orange dust.
