    Certainly is! Went from so bright and sunny to dark and stormy relatively quickly. The kind of rain that when it started I said, “what is that sound?”

    Wow. As I said, only started noticing them recently this year. I was hoping perhaps they were becoming less of a problem, obviously not!

    Seeing a lot of lantern flies over the past week around here, hadn’t really seen them until now. And, PSA: “For the past couple of years, bug experts and agriculture officials have been urging homeowners and business owners to kill spotted lanternflies. But some of the most popular devices used to snuff out those insects — glue traps — have unintentionally been injuring and killing birds, according to officials from The Raptor Trust“

    Yeah, here in Carteret we got a Robo-call from Middlesex County water asking us to conserve.

    Impressive how many weather psychics we have here! We know the forecast through, what, February already?!

    Agree. I think we’ve been very fortunate this year to not have long stretches of hazy hot and humid! Which is why I’m disappointed to see posts today indicating another endless Summer and a lot of heat into October. Ugh.
