  1. Really wish this thing was a bit further west for @USCAPEWEATHERAF. Would be awesome to watch on radar. Edit: From looking through older ones the good part is the GFS does tend to model them a good 75-100 miles NE. Have to wait until Thursday.
  2. Random observation looking back on previous Norluns in Maine and NJ, Reggie has done quite well with them 12-18 hours out. Beautiful one Fri-Sat for downeast Maine.
  3. Yea comes in like a wall then swiss cheese. Be nice to see in the day light hours.
  4. Going with 3" here. Somewhere in the Tolland Le Massif to Lunenburg snowbelt there will be a 6-7" report.
  5. I absolutely love those rugs, just makes a room feel more comfortable imo.
  6. Was just going to post that. Think v16 might be even better.
  7. Absolutely agree. Do you mean NYSkiblog? Harvey is the man, have had some good times with him at Magic. Gore is a sneaky good mountain in general. Not many places where you can take one lift and ski 1500' of woods back down but RIP Dark Side Lift Line. Other than some of the lower mountain cliffs of MRG it was one of the most challenging around. Could get into a rhythm easier and not landing flat like the lower Birdcage cliff. Every time I look at this pic my neck hurts.
  8. That rug looks like it really ties the room together man.
  9. This would be interesting. https://unofficialnetworks.com/2021/01/21/big-squaw-renovation-proposed/?fbclid=IwAR24rXsCZ0hiXKQ0aPAYrJHUnSEnk9S75EsVionJYMuIssVu12VwQRGjSDY
  10. "The Bumps" area was a bit thin. Needle's Eye and Schuss looked like base damage central earlier in the week but I imagine they have gotten 3-4" since then maybe more.
  11. Base is there but A LOT of trees are down on the trail above 2000' after some big freezing rain events.
  12. Yea like someone ripped open a pillow in front of a fan. Some of the heaviest of the winter, almost 1/2" down.
  13. Light/mod snow now. Probably the 5/6th time this week we have gotten covered white in a 10-15 minute window. Then its gone. Days and days...
  14. Kind of like summer thunderstorms. Sun was out 30 minutes ago, now getting dark and some spots on radar. Edit: Graupel pounding and covered again
  15. Anytime there are flakes falling and covering is a good time.
  16. Got a graupel pounding. Truck, yard, and deck covered in less than 5 minutes.
  17. Always thought the Hoosac Range played a role in blocking it out too.
  18. That 600' base and 1,500' summit always bite them. Upper half of the Thunderbolt should be great.
  19. As someone who has torn their groin twice, this pains me deeply lol Tash and Meow Pow used to share snowmaking crews under Peaks but not grooming. The lack of snowmaking seems Wildcat specific since Crotched and its limited water supply is almost completely open.
