After going to SF a few years ago I really became a Giants fan because I felt it was the way baseball should be (e.g., cheap tickets, bring a cooler or box of pizza into the place, just a fun time). That said, this team is just so fun to watch, they have personality, reminds me of the early 2000s teams I loved. I think Bloom might go wild and grab Rizzo.

It is wild. I have never seen a sunrise or moon so red/pink. Glad we brought the little one's nebulizer, she has been really coughing.

Wife has a conference on the Cape. Love it, leave Belchertown and the severe follows us. They are hyping it on the local radio stations down here. Last time we were on the Cape was about 4 years ago when they got a wild line of storms in the morning. Ended up taking us 5 hours to get from Truro to the canal due to roads closed from downed trees and flooding.

I'm at that point with Verdugo, seems to have an attitude issue. Can't wait to see what Durran can do, also have Meneses (little older) and Castellanos in Portland waiting.

"Only" 3.9" in the past 24 hours. Seeing reports on our town FB page multiple streets are washed out and some people are being evacuated. Weather station 5 miles south of us is reporting 5.1" since yesterday.

Best light show this year and another 1.7". I think that is over 7" now this month.

This storm is legit. Sky is black in some places.

Time for me to re-watch this episode of The Office.

She is/was an avid road biker but after a few close calls around here I think she might be done with it. Just too many distracted drivers. Great workout with low impact sums it up, it's a "good type of sore" the next day.

I find it easier to go down the mountain after a couple. For example, I did my MCL after snagging a tree on the bobsled track out to the 19th hole at Mad River. Went down to the lodge pounded Lawson SOSs until I didn't notice it, then proceeded to lap the stuff out past Paradise. Great day! Next day and weeks sucked though lol I used to do 3 10ks a week to stay in shape for hockey, but after a year I started feeling it in my ankles and knees. Think I am just not built for it. My wife recently decided to pull the trigger on a peloton and I now understand the hype and probably use it more than she does.

What could possibly go wrong dropping that? lol Side note, I had to get a new saw this spring. After years of Husqvarna I decided to try Stihls. Both obviously do the trick. Then I tried the Echo Timberwolf. HOLY @#%^. Same price, feels like a ton more power, and a 5 year warranty. I never would have thought they could make a saw that competes with the two big names but they have. Would highly recommend.

The Bassmaster Elite Series is on Champlain Thurs-Sun. Pretty fun to watch and see how little has changed since I last fished it 10 years ago. Weights seem to be coming back a bit from a few down years in 2015-2018. https://www.bassmaster.com/video/bassmaster-live-mix St. Lawrence River next week will be tons of 4-6lbs smallies and big waves.

I feel like this time last week we could toss everything HRRR after how poorly it had been doing. Then it sucks you back in after doing OK with Tues-Weds. 12z NAM is back down to earth a bit imo.

Interesting combination of factors. Over 4" of rain so far this month. Trees have been uprooting with minimal wind (e.g., gusts 30-35mph) from these thunderstorms. I'll be curious to see what more rain and wind does. In the past week here are dozens of new trees lining the shores of the Quabbin.

After living through the March 2010 events in RI I'm all set. Rather deal with an ice storm as long as I have my wood stove. I lived above a liquor store at the time and URI cancelled classes for the week so I ended up running pumps and shop-vacs all week in the warehouse. Then you have to wake up every hour or so to make sure things are pumping. We had massive spikes in crime (e.g., shop lifting, home break-ins, vandalism) since all the police are busy blocking off roads. Business owners were standing guard at their stores 24/7.. That week Coventry and West Warwick were like living in a Mad Max-era.

Gustnado lol. We all know what it really was.

Might drive up to the Rt. 2 area later on, NAM wants to crush it.
