  1. Just keeps coming in now. Picked up 3-4" more since 5am. Looking at about 8-9".
  2. We still have power down here. Looks like we got snow-holed after midnight. Just pounding sand now.
  3. Office in Lewiston had just a coating on the grass when I left. We have about 2.5" on our driveway in Gray. It was pounding my whole drive home and should really stack up tonight. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  4. Yup. Moderate snow at the office in Lewiston but nothing sticking. Wife says everything is covered at home and a skating rink. We had a few hours of freezing drizzle before the change over. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  5. Seriously, was surprised to see ~2" of QPF around here. Sitting at 30.4* now.
  6. Same here, sitting at 34*. Flurries are currently setting the mood.
  7. I really hope they don't replace the Fourrunner anytime soon but I think it is only a matter of time until this horrific thing gets installed and all the wind holds that go with it.
  8. There was so much cringe on that page when it only had a thousand people, can't even imagine now. No different than some dude on youtube making crypto videos, all about the clicks. Bummed to be sitting this storm out but still only about 7 weeks post-op and definitely not close to skiing yet. Hopefully in another 2 weeks or so, let the woods get some base in them.
  9. They should have just done it the "Jay Peak way" and added a waterpark or monorail too.
  10. That stretch from Heath west out to Florida is a special area. And it's strange because Berkshire East doesn't seem to get it.
  11. The most fun vehicle I have driven in the snow is a big old Buick LeSabre. It was like driving a tank through the snow while sitting on a leather couch. FWD is all you need since it's so damn heavy.
  12. The radar image in the last few frames is nuts. Gunstock would get over a foot in 3 hours.
  13. So happy I moved to Maine. But I do cherish the memories of Burptown and its "summers of severe."
  14. Liking the look. Can't remember the last time I saw >24 hours of snowfall.
  15. They had "big dreams" about 10-15 years ago. Here is the old map with all the proposed new lifts/areas.
  16. Ouch. Of course most think of woods when they think of Jay. This pic made me remember how fun the actual trails like River Quai, Can Am, and Green Beret are.
  17. I would agree on both of those points. There are several places where most of the unmarked wooded terrain has been cleared/maintained (e.g., Magic, Stratton, Pico, MRG, Stowe, Sugarloaf) but a lot more powder days to be had at Jay...if the lifts are not a wind-hold lol.
  18. I think it gets overlooked stuck between Killington and Stowe/Smuggs. It is massive (Mt. Ellen is like 2600' of vert), their trail pods are ~1,500' or more, and it gets tons of snow. The trails have "character" and they open trails when most other places would not so that makes it fun. Stein's is one of the best spring-bump runs in New England imo. I had a season pass there for a couple seasons and it was well worth it even though it was a 3.5 hour drive each way. Even on weekends, I never waited more than about 10 minutes and that always from the base. Awesome to make the hike to Castlerock when they don't run the lift and there is fresh snow. When I was in the midst of internship placements I was pretty excited with Dartmouth, probably because it was only about an hour from MRV lol
  19. Really happy to see Wildcat getting at it this year with opening and some nice communication for a change. Now that it is only a 90-minute drive I might stop in. Anyone know what is up with Sugarbush? Not their typical early offering, Super Bravo being cranky again?
