  1. Years ago when the Sox were considering moving into a new facility and the Expos were leaving Montreal, I thought a reasonable solution would be to move the Expos to Boston and have them play in Fenway while the Sox move into larger state-of-art facility. Expos likely would not have carved away too much of the Sox fanbase and still draw better than they did up north.
  2. KLEB also 93 for the 2nd day in a row.
  3. Maybe sooner per Burlington AFD (love when they add humor): https://forecast.weather.gov/product.php?site=BTV&issuedby=BTV&product=AFD&format=CI&version=1&glossary=1 Models are coming into much better agreement as we head into the weekend with a deep upper level low diving south across the northeastern US. Did someone say June snow? Just kidding but it does appear we could see 850 mb temperatures drop to 1-2 degrees C at the higher summits yielding a few cold rain showers. The weekend appears to be highlighted by well below normal temperatures with highs likely struggling to reach 70 degrees even in the deeper valleys. By Monday, the forecast is really up in the air as it looks like an omega block will develop with good upstream blocking across the northern Atlantic. This will likely favor us remaining entrenched in the upper level low with below normal temperatures continuing into the first half of next week.
  4. Has Stein ever posted on this forum? If not, how did the obsession with his Tweets develop?
  5. Yay! It looks like it rained at home. Based on the nearby stations, we look to have gotten around a third of an inch!
  6. Same here. We only got a couple of drops, not enough to wet the ground.
  7. hearing rumbles up the valley. Here's hoping we get some rain,. It has been sunny most of the day until the past few minute, mid- 70s and humid.
  8. Some great sunsets can be seen from Race Point and, even more so, Herring Cove Beach (closer to town). Have a wonderful trip and congratulaitons.
  9. Q of the day: Who is more obsessed- Epstein about drought or AmWX about Epstein?
  10. "Still analyzing incoming model data for the potential for storms today with several different camps out there, the HRRR being the most aggressive breaking the cap later this afternoon with more models seemingly jumping on board. Still difficult to discern when/where convection will pop, but if it does it will likely go severe rapidly. We will continue to monitor" https://forecast.weather.gov/product.php?site=BTV&issuedby=BTV&product=AFD&format=CI&version=1&glossary=1
  11. After everything it took for you to get any grass to stay, I am surprised you drove a truck onto it.
  12. Sad end to a "what were they thinking story," 2 dead after kayaking during the storm yesterday https://www.wcax.com/2022/04/19/crews-searching-possible-drowning-victims-morgan/
  13. Probably the worst drive of the season, Few plow trucks out there on the interstate (1-89). Up to 6' of slush on the highway, just one lane usable in most sports due to depth of slush, many people without winter tires on. I say one truck one its side and 5 or 6 off to the side of the road, many cars off the road too. I still have the studded Hakkas on the Subaru so I felt fine but couldn't pass much due to the conditions in the passing lane being too bad.
  14. Wow, one of those hail stones looks just like a plastic Easter egg!
  15. ground is mostly whitened today. Solid trace.

  17. 5.1 inches so far, it is stuck to everything, the woods out back are very pretty
