  1. Heaviest of the day, can't see 2 blocks away, but the back end is just to the west.
  2. Probably 2-3" here in Joplin. It's pretty coming down at times, Snowglobe.
  3. Pretty underwhelming. Had some pretty good snowfall for a bit. Seems there's a bit of a dry patch now. HRRR really narrows the band.
  4. Models putting Joplin back in the heavy band I see.
  5. I also like watching the HRRR every hour and see it produce these little unexpected convective bursts every now and then that don't appear in previous runs...
  6. The 18z GFS didn't back down. A bit worried about that, and a bit worried about the warm nose being warmer than modeled.
  7. Updated graphic at around 2:30 6" in far NE OK by me... so probably WSWarning by SGF.
  8. 18z HRRR is 2-3 degrees colder than the 12z HRRR across much of the area at 06z Wed.
  9. Pivotalweather has the 10 day Euro now for free. https://www.pivotalweather.com
  10. Chiefs win the Super Bowl, and a snow storm in the same week. End of the world is near.
  11. Through 18z tomorrow, the 12z Euro is a tick farther SE.....
  12. Just saw this. Lack of a -AO (high latitude blocking) and a non-persistent negative EPO means the Pacific air masses have ruled .
  13. There are convective elements with that glob of moisture. Whoever is cold enough to snow at all levels will get walloped just north of the sleet line.
  14. 12z NAM a bit concerning for temps. More sleet and freezing rain showing up.
  15. Joplin forecast Wednesday: A chance of snow before 7am, then snow showers likely after 7am. The snow could be heavy at times.
