  2. I bet within the next 24 hours they pull the trigger on watches, warnings, etc, probably just waiting to get a slightly clearer view of where the frozen precipitation is gonna end up.

  4. Me too, I sincerely hope everyone else scores big time though! I enjoy it when everybody in the forum gets involved cause the discussions are great! I’ve got my eyes on that 1st of the year timeframe though for sure! The possibilities with the upcoming pattern look awesome
  5. @Holston_River_Rambler since your the name guru on picking storm thread names, what should we name this storm thread? Others feel free to chip in ideas as well, or I can leave it as is. Also, do you guys think we should go ahead and start a January thread for long term discussion?
  6. If what stovepipe said is correct, look Into the Southwest sky just after sunset tonight. I believe between 6 and 6:30 is the best time to view it
  7. anybody else see the Bethlehem star tonight? It was a sight to see. It’s amazing how close Jupiter and Saturn were edit: meant to put this in banter
  8. Figured we’d go ahead and start a thread for this possible storm so we could have a separate thread to look back on it In the future. Middle and East Tennessee look to have the best chances with this system, (hope west Tn can creep into this scenario as well). Either way it’s nice to have something to track around Christmas time as this doesn’t happen very often. Fingers crossed we all can have a white Christmas! Let the speculation begin.
  9. Temps are holding at 46, 5 degrees below the forecasted high of 51. No rain yet but it’s overcast, been that way most of the day as well. System looks great for those west of us, they seem to be cashing in
