  1. Don't worry. Everybody has said to wait until about Thursday for the confluence to exit a little more. We're right where we want to be five, six, or seven days out.
  2. This one is and will continue to be nerve racking. I like the trends from overnight. Just hope everyone is right about the old GFS.
  3. Maybe we should hope for that lobe to continue to move SW and actually interact with our storm. Is that one of many possibilities?
  4. The longer we wait for this storm to possibly reach the area, the worse odds we have. Hurry Up!!!!
  5. Keep the faith, for at least the next couple of hours. We have to stop the bleeding.
  6. Agreed. The FV3 run was good enough for me for early December.
  7. I'll go a small step further. If you're right about the 12z runs and you very well may be, I think this storm is toast. Seems to me we need the 12z runs to correct the 6z runs right away which would relegate the 6z runs to a "blip".
  8. Now time to retrograde back to O.C.
  9. Faster arrival of the storm looks like a good thing.
  10. To this untrained eye, looks like approx. 24 hours of light to moderate snow from the FV3.
  11. NWS calling for rain and snow on Saturday.
  12. Let's keep this info on the down lo.
  13. I think the quote is "Weenie life isn't for the faint of heart". Showing my confidence, I went to Lowe's and picked up a new snow blower!
  14. Bristow, I think so too. I'll feel better on Tuesday if we're still in the game.
  15. Would having that NS energy a little faster help to bring the primary further north?
  16. FV3 has another storm hugging the coast on Dec 11/12 that doesn't make it up to us but it's close on 6z. I didn't like the old GFS showing the cutter on the 10th though. I didn't see the 0z run until just now. Now I would take that and run with it.
  17. Two weeks ago, if that, the long range guidance looked spectacular and both the GEFS and EPS were in lockstep. Now, the long range guidance looks pretty bad. I really don't know how anyone can trust the long range models.
