I guess we have to remember what the date is. It's November 25th and we're thru Thanksgiving and we're still losing the climo battle, which we should. And we'll continue to lose that battle until close to Christmas. Prior to that, it's all foreplay.
The period around December 1st seems to have a few instances where there are systems trying to form south of us but don't quite get the job done. Could be the time for us to luck out possibly. I have to remember to stop looking past day ten on the models.
Agree. If you don't have a CAD setup, anything cutting to our west usually leaves us crying to our mommies. Why can't storms have a clockwise rotation?
Just comparing last night's GFS run with this morning GFS run, it seems like night and day. Last night's run runs a storm well north and west of us while this morning it pops a storm off the MA coast in the December 1st time frame. Is this morning's GFS possibly picking up on what the EPS depicted overnight?
I'm waiting to hear if I'm working today or not. It's like a Winter wonderland now in Manassas. Balls Ford road is almost covered. Still snowing, still 32.
