I like the look of the GFS at hour 384! hm thinks this may be the time for a pattern change.

Does that mean the LR guidance can be trusted in your opinion? I just remember last year not being stellar in that regard.

GFS shows a coastal trying but failing to run up the coast (too far east)on the 21st.

Agree with everything you stated. Lamar has the same "presence " on the field as Cunningham did but is bigger , stronger, and better coaches. Old Buddy relied too much on his defense. The missed FG was a shame. Minnesota and Randall deserved better.

6z now has the storm reaching our latitude but is riding up the coast actually not even on the coast but inland. Looks vigorous so just maybe this one can generate it's own cold air. 6z does have frozen in the mtns.

Could drop a few degrees but we need that wind direction to shift at all levels which means a big change in things or hope models are a little off in their forecasts.

Too bad that HP in the nw couldn't get further to the east especially with the trend to have the storm bomb off the coast pretty close to us. NWS has some snow in the overnight tonight when winds shift to the nw.

That's a pretty stout HP in the NW. Too bad it's not a couple of hundred miles to the east, or less.

Eyeballing, it looks like about two inches so far in Gainesville. Snow is moderate at best now. Barely a whisper of any wind. It's snowy, cold, and tranquil now.
