I like the look of the GFS at hour 384! hm thinks this may be the time for a pattern change.

FWIW, on EURO at 12z, storm depicted on ky/tn border today compared to mid ky yesterday!

Not just Sat./Sun but Thanksgiving and Dec 3rd. What we see, if I may, is the normal progression of autumn as it approaches winter. Gradually seeing the colder air get closer to the MA at the same time precipitation does. Pattern to me is favorable. Too far out for details on what eventually happens. I like what I see, however.

Interesting look at H5 on Thanksgiving with a pretty good looking ridge out west and a vigorous system a little to far north coming east. Need that storm to come further south as it moves into the MA. Or transfer its energy to the coast.

500's look to have potential as opposed to the OP for that time period.

Quite a big difference next weekend when comparing the 0z GFS run with the 6z run this AM. 0z has a run of the mill cold front as opposed to a storm approaching from the west southwest. This goes for the h5 look also.

Does that mean the LR guidance can be trusted in your opinion? I just remember last year not being stellar in that regard.

Looks like the 20th/21st time period has some potential to my untrained eyes for a coastal which has been trending for a couple of days. 500's look interesting. In fact, we have a possible coastal on the 19th. Less cold air though for this one, at this time.

GFS shows a coastal trying but failing to run up the coast (too far east)on the 21st.

Agree with everything you stated. Lamar has the same "presence " on the field as Cunningham did but is bigger , stronger, and better coaches. Old Buddy relied too much on his defense. The missed FG was a shame. Minnesota and Randall deserved better.

Don't worry. There is plenty of snow holes in southern Virginia that will no doubt move north.

6z now has the storm reaching our latitude but is riding up the coast actually not even on the coast but inland. Looks vigorous so just maybe this one can generate it's own cold air. 6z does have frozen in the mtns.

Looks like different outcomes every 6 hours. Nice GOM lp coming up coast on 6z but cold air retreats. Cold air is pretty close though. hmmm

HP more stout at 6z GFS and holds back enough to allow storm to ride up the front. Nice to see.

Looks like we might be close to a nice storm late next week. GFS has subtle changes between 0z and 6z runs today. Looks like a good tracking event for our first shot of some snow.
