Just had a massive gust rip down the street, multiple trees and large limbs down. Saw someone's large yeti cooler flying down the road. Nice unexpected Christmas for whoever finds that. Was not expecting this level of winds.
Just drove my son to school in Halifax, trees and limbs down all over the place. Bad day for trash pickup in Halifax, barrels and trash all over the road. Traffic lights out on 44 from the rotary to at least 105.
Looks like we are on the outside looking in here in downtown Middleboro. Still awesome to see some snow falling and on the ground. 8 years in the Carolinas will make you appreciate any snow that falls. Was great watching my son see snow for just the 2nd time and running around outside.
A bit of a random question, but is there an easy site to pull a graph showing precipitation over a period? My friend is being sued by a neighbor who believes the work he did to his property is causing hers to flood when it rains. But I am almost positive last year was drier than this and hoping to find a chart/graph that helps to support it.
There's a discussion around the Canes on the Raleigh-Durham City-Data forum. Not very active at the moment but I imagine it'll pick up as the season starts.
Just about all snow at this point in Garner, still some rain mixed in. Pretty light at the moment but seems to be fluctuating between light and and somewhat steadier rates.
