    Made the decision to send my wife and kids to mother in laws with a full house generator. Not feeling great about holding on to power here tomorrow with some aged trees on our street.

    Yeah...this is going to be a good one down here! My son spent his first 5 years in NC and now is going to get 2 20"+ storms in one winter.

    I'm about a mile or from the 44/495 area, feeling really good about my spot and thankful I pulled the trigger on a snowblower.

    Roads are a mess, 6 car accident on 44. Middleboro PD called in the afternoon shift early to keep up with calls.

    Idk, I don't get the negativity in this neck of the woods. Wasn't forecasted to be big down here but can still appreciate having snow in the air and a little refresh of the pack. It's a Saturday, snows in the air, and Pats are in the Superbowl, what's to complain about.

    While we're only getting heavier stuff in waves as they come through, when those bands do hit it is impressive as hell. Roads are a mess and accumulates quick.

    If you're looking for a place with plenty of chain restaurants, buy here pay here furniture stores, and bars with drunk marines, it'll definitely hit the spot. That said, some amazing places nearby. Emerald Isle across the water, I will forever claim as being one of the nicest beaches in the country.

    You're telling me, my son has had 3 snow days this week. Only time I can remember getting that many days off in a row was the 2005 storm.

    My arms and back are hating me for being cheap and not buying a snowblower. Was about 18" before bed, looks like we picked up another 2" overnight.

    Any measurement reports in the Middleboro area? My house is tough with the wind so hard to keep it accurate but it seemed to be about 18-18.5" but hoping for a more verified measurement.

    Just finished round 1 of clearing driveway before the Pats game, seemed like all the neighbors had the same idea. Just absolutely pure fluff and stacking up quickly.
