  1. 1990 was awesome lol, how come 2012 isn't on this list? also noteworthy is that this area hadn't seen 80 degrees in March since 1998, which was not as awesome as 1990 was.
  2. looks like the sun is trying to come out here
  3. Early outlook- do you think we will see a lot of this during the summer with heat and dryness?
  4. Looks like the sunny blue sky weather is gone for an extended period
  5. wow and it was 28, beating all those other years by a fair amount
  6. that should also impact the gulf stream
  7. I sense a pattern here.....didn't we also just have the warmest period with no high of 50 or above during the middle of winter?
  8. wow thats interesting! which of those were ones that had snow....just 1982 and 2003?
  9. Yeah, just to be clear, which S19 are we talking about lol....snowman19?
  10. whats the record lowest humidity at NYC, LGA and JFK, Chris? I would think the lowest should be in the summer when temps are their warmest and we have a nice downsloping dry wind.
  11. How is it not in the summer when temps are warmer?
  12. Don why the big difference between Islip 16" and JFK 8" It was an all snow event wasn't it?
  13. I wonder what it was in April 2002 when we had that dry heatwave?
  14. Did JFK get to below 10% humidity also?
  15. NYC finished 0.1" ahead of Boston! Also yesterday was the anniversary of the April 1982 blizzard and today is the anniversary of the April 2003 snowstorm! Lee Goldberg keeps mentioning incorrect information.....yesterday he kept saying NYC got 10 inches of snow in the Blizzard of 1982 and then got another 10 inches of snow the following year, in May! We've never even had a 1 inch snow event in May let alone a 10 inch one!
  16. Was below 10% at NYC also, what about JFK? Did it get below 10% during the dry heatwave in April 2002?
  17. cold in the morning but hot by afternoon lol
  18. if that kind of cold outbreak happens in April instead of May it could be colder even if not as extreme
  19. 20 inches in Philly in April 1915 wow
  20. Think we can finally have a dry summer if we have a strong SE Ridge with downsloping winds like this? SST shouldnt matter if we get a 1995 or 2010 kind of SE Ridge that backs into the coast and gives us a downsloping wind, it will also hold back fronts and weaken them
  21. Maybe JFK will hit 70? These are my favorite kinds of days.
  22. 6 inches for parts of Long Island. How is it Central Park didn't record anything?
