  1. Definitely did not prove your point, which is compete gibberish.
  2. Sure climate has changed over millions of years. The rate of increase is the problem. You know, scientists can measure the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere from millions of years ago and compare to temps, ice ages, etc. the warming usually occurs over thousands of years, not 50 years. The rate is alarming, nobody says it wasn’t warmer in the past. Your are employing what is known as a straw man argument.
  3. December was decent around here. Got 6” of snow from 2-3 events. Got another 3.5” in January
  4. Thread the needle doesn’t mean it’s a bad pattern...
  5. It almost never snows in bad patterns. Take a break brother. You are spiraling.
  6. That was some squall, wow. definitely gusted to 50+
  7. Thanks, hoping we dont lose any trees
  8. 54 out here in suffolk, winds gusting mid to upper 30s
  9. Getting some serious squalls out here, almost like a tropical system
  10. We have seen this modeled for months. I forget who posted it, but both the GEFS and Euro ENS have been too cold at all levels. the GEFS much worse, but both have been very cold biased, showing lower than normal heights over the NE which never materialized.
  11. That's true as well for sure. As i kid i was out there mid storm shoveling the snow, just for the hell of it. Every 2 inches i was out there clearing the driveway, neighbors must have thought i was nuts.
  12. That and my heating bill has been incredibly low. Didnt owe any money on my balanced billing for January...and i still have an account credit. Partly due to new boiler, and partly due to the warmth.
  13. Yea i mean i dont mind it. We have almost 10" this winter, and every storm was mainly slop on the roads, or was a snow to rain situation where i knew it would melt the next day. I dont miss shoveling...
  14. Yup, right at the end of the February 8-11 window i have been on for days. Our one shot. After that shades close until late February.
  15. Exactly, nobody on LI had snowblowers in the 80s and 90s. Only after the 2000s did people really invest. I still dont have one, and my neighbor who bought one in fall 2008 only used his once, for some slop. We havent had to really shovel any snow this "winter". Better investment is to pay the local kids $40-$60 to clear out the driveway once every 3 years...
  16. You have alot of friends who live in snowy areas...how do you meet these people?
  17. Dude you post those models! You are referring to yourself!
