  1. I work in Cherry Hill and get to work around 6 AM. Yeah, there was no accumulation at all on the roads. Even my driveway (in Williamstown, central Gloucester County) was primarily still just wet at 5:30 when I left with just a couple random patches of snow on it in the places that are more shaded during the day.
  2. The gust at Cape Canaveral was actually 107 mph according to the 7 AM position update from NHC.
  3. But, wait -- 2-3 degrees Celsius is 3.6-5.4 degrees Fahrenheit. Bad conversions going on!
  4. When are they heading out again?
  5. Also, just keeping an eye on Buoy 42003 -- 208 NM West of Naples. Nothing crazy certainly, but winds slowly coming up there, sustained at 21 knots, gusting to 25 knots now.
  6. Also, TD8 getting sheared to death as soon as it got started..........naked swirl now.
  7. Up to 40/60 1. A tropical wave located about 550 miles east of the Lesser Antilles continues to produce disorganized shower and thunderstorm activity. Conditions are marginally conducive for some gradual development during the next few days while the disturbance moves westward to west-northwestward at 15 to 20 mph. Environmental conditions could become more conducive for development late this week when the system is expected to move near Hispaniola and the southeastern and central Bahamas. An Air Force Reserve Hurricane Hunter aircraft is scheduled to investigate this system on Tuesday, if necessary. Interests in the Lesser Antilles, the Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico should monitor the progress of this system. * Formation chance through 48 hours...medium...40 percent * Formation chance through 5 days...medium...60 percent
  8. Wow -- low of 83 at PHL and a low of 83 at ACY -- any idea where these stack up on the all-time minimum low list?
  9. Yep, heat lightning all the way down here in Williamstown, NJ -- a long way south of any storms.
  10. Thanks for doing this -- slight revision though for PHL -- we had 5 days of 90+ in June, so 20 total so far: 6/1 -- 90, 6/11 -- 92, 6/12 -- 90, 6/19 -- 91, 6/20 -- 91. Thanks!
  11. Random Question -- I would expect Dover's dewpoint to be one of the highest in the Mt. Holly CWA, but is it possible that it's running high? On Thursday, it had 4 hours with an 82+ dewpoint, including 2 hours with a DP of 83, which seems excessive. Thoughts?
  12. Light snow (not sticking to anything) for about 45 minutes here in Williamstown, NJ -- 37F
  13. Just about all sleet with the band rotating in here in central Gloucester County
  14. Interesting that PHL hasn't yet made it down to 32 this season. Looks like it is going to break the record for the latest first freeze, which is currently 11/28 back in 2010.
  15. Silly, newbie question -- how is OHC calculated? Is it essentially calculated just from the average ocean temperature over the top 700 or 2000 meters of the ocean across the globe?
  16. After being a ZR/IP mix for a couple hours, now just straight ZR -- not much accretion occurring yet, however.
  17. Over to sleet in Williamstown, central Gloucester County, NJ
  18. Can I ask for the link to that barometric pressure map? Thanks!
  19. Well, that was fast -- rain/sleet mix now in Williamstown, NJ
  20. Flurries just commenced here in Williamstown (Gloucester County), NJ
