    12z GFS def mutes the cool down next week and torches again D8 onwards, wouldn't shock me to see it play out like that tbh

    prob won't be enough to see a measurable impact, but there has been some ~VE4ish eruptions (Ulawun 2x, Raikoke ) over the past couple months that have injected SO2 into the stratosphere

    surprised you aren't tired from shoveling the 2"-4" you forecasted for yesterday what are we thinking for next week? I'm hedging towards a 4/87 redux sometime mid-month, but maybe it will turn out more like 4/97

    For sure! Sat looks like borderline top 10 type day .. I can see Sunday going both ways but I'd be weary E/NE MA

    Last April, I believe it was 4/15 we had that absurdly cold low lvl airmass where it was spitting snow grains mid day with temps in the mid 30s .. IIRC had some zr and pl overnight before it flipped to rain. So yeah GFS is prob on an island on this one, but in a perfect scenario I'm sure its possible for something like the 12z run to verify one day ..
