  1. so much for the warmup next week on that OP Euro run
  2. need the northern stream s/w to dive in to bring this up the coast
  3. most of that falls in a 3 hr period .. would make for some impressive rates
  4. what a weenie Ukmet solution.. wasn’t even done yet lol
  5. it is a marginal setup as is .. time for the interior NW of 90/495 to shine
  6. EURO kind of similar to the CMC dropping that PV fragment ( I dunno what else to call it?) Friday night across the region. Helps bring a reinforcing shot of cold air. I think it would be more interesting if we could speed up the system to take better advantage of this since it will be so marginal anyway.
  7. 5.9" should do it .. 2.8" between 10:30 and 12:00
  8. rates picking up .. ORH looks like they are getting crushed just east of 190
  9. arctic front interacting with the IVT now .. radar starting to look a lot more impressive
  10. GFS ramping QPF up a bit .. verbatim solid advisory central / east MA, RI, NE CT and borderline warning just north of Boston
  11. must be some good hits with the mean QPF so high!
  12. yeah would love to see a big mixed precip event to really lock in the pack. Imagine a VD '07 type sleet storm on top of this pack? Would take til April to fully melt
  13. I'd take our chances during peak climo riding the boundary .. at least we will have opportunities
  14. I'd take a region wide 1"-3" with IVT on the EURO and run Really backing off on the big time cold too
