  1. We’d take this in a heartbeat but I think it’s overdone but it’s going to snow in mid December!! What’s not to like !
  2. Last year I moved back to RI from SC after living there for 10 years. I moved there because I thought I was sick of the snow here but after putting up with bugs the size of birds, hurricanes and humidity to melt your brain I realized snow ain’t so bad so I came back last year and couldn’t wait for our first snowstorm last year. Sadly disappointed because here in RI it was a snow drought last year. So I’m pumped for my first official nor’easter that hopefully won’t disappoint. Bring it on!
  3. Aren’t the Kuchera maps always on the extreme side of things?
  4. Us SNE’s might finally get the big one we’ve been waiting for!
  5. One thing I’ve learned over the years is that the NHC is very good at what they do and I trust that what they’re seeing in the guidance is accurate.
  6. NHC seems pretty certain on the recurve scenario. Well it was exciting for a short time. Next!
  7. That would be a very weird angle of trajectory to go from the Outer Banks to the Great Lakes. Is this even possible? The Cat 4 strength I’m sure is way overdone.
  8. With that ridge looks like New England hit, however it is in the GFS fantasy land timeline.
  9. Line of training storms from the Atlantic into RI now
  10. Watching the radar closely
  11. Is it me or did they change the change the track of Isaias on the 11:00 advisory more westward? Looks like none of the cone covers Connecticut or Massachusetts now. The center crosses further west of NYC
  12. Sun just broke through here in East Greenwich RI
  13. I was noticing that too. Anyone else notice a more NE heading?
  14. Local Mets here in RI say sustained wing 30-40 mph with possible gusts to 50 mph. No mention of any impacts with the potential jet
  15. Isaias looks to be on life support right now. I know these storm can rise from the dead but there are so many factors against that happening. Dry air and wind shear is just knocking the hell out of his core.
