    yeah this was the ultimate setup for teens to 20F and pure snow with no mixing concerns. We are not going to see that again this year.

    I would say we have at least a decade wait for another big chance. Now we may still get some mixed crap or small events this year, but nothing like what we could have had with this. I am just glad I decided to chase a bit.

    You have to admit it's hard to go from a possible double-digit event to maybe 2 in.

    The worst thing for Raleigh is there won't be a makeup storm either for this. These don't come around everyday.

    Raleigh has been cut back to 2 to 4 in which that is probably even generous. Obviously it's a near total loss at this point.

    I only have 17° as I drive right now. I don't think I've ever seen it snow when it was this cold before in North Carolina outside the mountains

    It is nuking as I drive through alamance county. This is crazy.

    I am near the entrance of the Grandover Parkway (GSO) and it is snowing hard with already several inches. I am got some shots and will be heading back to Raleigh so I don't get stuck out here.

    This was the biggest opportunity in a decade. I doubt any future possibility will be a big one this year.

    Yep I am likely going to be exiting the board for some time if this truly busts as it is usually many years between big opportunities.

    Unless it gets cut some more. They usually don't like to make big jumps all at once.

    NWS has started the walk back. I know where this is going.

    That is all they know how to do it would seem since losing Fishel.
