  1. Yeah it started to weaken a bit by the time I got there. Saw a very minor accumulation in the grass but fun none the less.
  2. Nice to see things looking better this morning instead of weenies getting the toaster baths ready.
  3. One more from the band https://www.facebook.com/share/v/15J5uQiHNa/
  4. Caught it near Bailey NC https://www.facebook.com/share/v/18QxHFyuED/
  5. There is ensemble support with the Euro for a less amped solution and a decent amount of members that take RDU out of the grey and into at least the blue colors for amounts (better than an inch).
  6. Any farther inland and I will be rooting for the warm sector and low-topped supercells.
  7. Yeah definitely a bit of a dumpster fire for sure. If that is the trend we're done.
  8. Definitely still a front ender before the ZR begins but serviceable I suppose. Obviously we would rather have the surface low cut across the Big Bend of FL for the northeast turn instead. The low ends up right over Raleigh which is not good.
  9. Ok blame me if it doesn't work out but here is our first chance in years:
  10. bad mojo and we are just barely keeping it together as it is. Be ready for some heavy moderating this week as there is a lot of trauma from the past few years.
  11. We will see if the happy hour GFS wants to make us drink for good or bad reasons.
  12. I am pretty sure we should shut down the Southeast region forum if we zero out again.
  13. Gaithersburg is about to get smoked.
  14. Congrats all from RDU where the futility streak is up to 1072 days. It looks like this band in NOVA is going to really up things for a lucky few. Would not be surprised if there is some thunder in that band.
  15. Very accurate though with the nose of rain into Wake County JK
  16. The CMC does have a cold bias I believe.
  17. 1/2 inch of snow with around 0.2 ice for Raleigh verbatim. The bare minimum to break the streak.
