It's the Mid Atlantic, we can always suck more at weather. The only sensible solution is to move west and north or out of the area.

At DCA, prior to 2000 only 10% of winters had <10" of snow. Since 2000, 50% of winters have been below 10" of snow. The trends are undeniable.

Maybe there will be a polling error with the various indices and we'll somehow get lucky.

BOS observer near the water is slant sticking. Can we have this person train the DCA observer since they apparently know how to measure properly near water?

You're probably right, it seems we are more like North Carolina climo or tidewater of VA these days.

Have it 34 and rain at the start to wipe the salt off the roads...no help from chemistry! Then vodka cold for a week!!

This season is such a low energy bust. There's not even been a decent fish storm with nice satellite presentation.

Would love to see a 6"-10" Christmas snowstorm this year. Something that covers the ground. It starts right at sunrise and goes all day. Then clears out just after sunset and you get the see that stars. That alone would be great.

I miss the days of getting a 8" - 12" storm, then a clipper a few days later that adds a nice 2" - 4" of fluff on top of everything. Clipper snows always have that nice little sweet spot surprise.
