Probably a lot of mixed bag events this year. The upside is we won't be dry as a bone in the boreal forests of Canada. Should mitigate the wildfire risk next spring.

Really need dry weather from Oct 9th to 27th. We are pouring concrete for our first set of mesonet stations and rain will muck everything up.

It's both. Climavision had a great presentation at the New York mesonet. They're planning to fill most of the existing NEXRAD gaps as part of an agreement with NOAA/NSSL. Personally, I'm glad. This is a great way to provide operational data to NWS and fill longstanding gaps.

Ended up with just shy of 3". I had some real concerns that we would wind up busting low and was pleasantly surprised. After being dry since March, the spring at the farm where we board our horse in Finksburg is finally bubbling again. More rain please! -
