  1. i don't disagree with the need for the warning, just saying that particular warning did not result in a touchdown. The rotation went over my house and was definitely visually there.
  2. All is a bit of an overstatement....the DE warning did not produce ground truth.
  3. Likewise lol. It was actually the weather channel app that warned us before the EAS alert to our phones. I have a livesteam on my Facebook where you can see the clouds twisiting. The sky was a worse blueish green than last week! I swear we don't usually have weather this interesting, only when you visit LOL
  4. How did you fare? I was right in between the couplets, but the one that was there right before it split into two basically went over our house.
  5. Well, had a tornado warning with the couplet basically over my head. Just a lot of torrential rain, incredible lightning and a bit of wind.
  6. rotation seems pretyy significant on radarscope.... KDOX was even picking it up, and appears to be having a lightning surge as well.
  7. what the heck? I cant remember the last time a SVR got upgraded to a TOR
  8. I have heard that place is very good! Other half is picky, so haven't been. We ended up going in the afternoon after the clouds cleared out. Went to Roosevelt inlet around 3. Was nice, only a few Jellyfish
  9. Ugh....I guess the beach will have to wait a bit.. hopefully it starts clearing out
  10. Think we will probably do the same. don't want to pay for parking, or for state park admission.
  11. We're going tomorrow...how crowded is it? This is amazing beach weather
  12. You have been here for one of the more interesting periods weather wise. Do not recall such intense thunderstorms on consecutive days like this in quite some time.
  13. yes, not as much thunder as the other day, but deeper and more crashing. was up past midnight calming down my dog
  14. The waterspout in th Delaware Bay earlier appears to have come onshore in Cape May as a tornado. I can't help but wonder what that cell would have done if it had been over land
  15. Moved out and got a few breaks of sun...but looks like we might be victims of subsidence
  16. Same storm has a hook and a TW in Cape May.... wouldn't be surprised if it produces
