Just because recent years have admittedly been hard for the majority of the sub they act like they are "owed" snow as if they don't get 4-8" while I sit under 40 degree rain 90% of the time historically.     one thing we seem to do extremely well around here is wind, and this may be a perception bias, but it feels like the wind events have become more frequent.

    A high wind watch with forecast highs barely cracking 20 degrees. This reminds me of 2013-14 but less snow, more cold.

    this is starting to feel like our February 2025. The upside is the cold pattern appears to be stable for the next few weeks....more chances ahead. I will enjoy whatever falls.
