In the meanwhile, Phillies scored 17 runs in one game. LOL. Now I expect they will be shut out for the next 3 games.
Isn't it amazing how often that happens? And it doesn't matter who the team is either.

WPC seems to be model mongering. Maybe I should apply.
I'm liking how there is a precip max of nearly 5" in eastern NC and another just offshore with the Outer Banks itself receiving significantly less. Interesting...

O's win!
Yes! The pressure is off, I fully expect a 14 game winning streak to follow.

WPC says south central PA might not see much liquid after all:

But it is June, so I can now turn on the A/C at any moment without a bit of judgment.
This is wrong on so many levels I can't begin to go into detail, but anyone waiting until June to turn on the AC will be judged by me. A lot.

I made one small edit.

Those two also contributed to lots and lots of wasted money on sports cards.
Gregg Jefferies. I had half of an album of Gregg Jefferies rookie cards. The biggest can't miss player of my lifetime up until that point. (mid 1980s) Had a solid career with a couple of all star game appearances but he never lived up to the hype. (which wasn't possible given the amount of hype)

How often do they have to close that pool from someone who had the sh*t scared out of them?

A team with Curt Schilling, Fred Lynn and Brady Anderson. Would have figured one win in there in 21.
Curt's head wasn't screwed on straight, Freddie was at the end of his career, and Brady hadn't discovered performance enhancing drugs yet.

I like seeing the short range models showing some of the LSV waking up wet tomorrow AM. Get it while we can.
I don't like rain delayed, bring it early. Same applies in the winter. Delayed way too often = denied.

Watching the O's gets them mad and talking extremes.
We're 2/3rds of the way to matching our infamous 1988 streak. Of course, that one started the season and many wondered if the O's would ever win.

@mahantango#1 that's a great picture, thank you for posting!

Just took one day of full sun and you can see the dryness in the grass already. After three straight days of rain and no sun. Crazy town.
I'm sort of surprised by how brown my yard still is. Definitely better than a week ago but still dry.

Spectacular Memorial Day! Sunny skies, low dews, and 73 degrees.

3-day total of 1.42” for me here in beautiful West Hempfield Township. Just trimmed some shrubbery on this glorious day, now about to have some peeps over for some grilling and boozing. Cheers to all and god bless those who have served and given the ultimate sacrifice for our great nation. Happy Memorial Day!
Ah ha! You beat me this time.

Looks like we get more rain Thursday or (more likely) Friday.
Thursday night and Friday are looking wetter than what we just went through.

Spots in the sun at a premium. Only 54 our here right now at caldadonia.
Enjoy your day - I love Caledonia, to me it's a hidden gem. We often go to Pinchot because it's closer but I love the vibe in the Michaux state forest.
Also, thanks for your well wishes for our trip. It's out of my control, we'll make the best of what comes our way. Interestingly, as epically wet as it was last year, we've been doing the beach gig all my life and over the years we've been blessed with phenomenal weather. Many years featured no rain, or perhaps a day where it stormed. Last year was the only true clunker that I remember, so there's that perspective, too. Sure, I want it sunny and 85 every day but that isn't likely going to happen and we'll enjoy that beautiful, fragile piece of land no matter what the weather.

You may be right about Lancaster County. It appeared that areas south and east of me did get even more rain than I did...
At any rate, the past three days for me went like this...
5/28 - 1.30"
5/29 - 0.63"
5/30 - 0.19"
Total - 2.12"
For me:
5/28 - .75"
5/29 - .56"
5/30 - .04"

It started raining here again. Roads wet. A heavy drizzle. .05" today. Sunday's festivities punted into Monday. Tomorrow looks good right now though.
I'm at .04" for the day, 1.35" for the event. Temp is up to 55 here.

@TimB84, 6Z GFS does bring back normal temps for us next weekend but spares us an extended period of above normal though mid June. Concentrates the real heat toward the middle of the country. Did not check Dp's just temps.
Looks like dews rise to the upper 60s/around 70 range by next Sunday or Monday. I'll be enjoying another deluge on OBX for the 2nd year in a row: (rain is not finished after this)

No rain since very early Saturday am but there is a little shower on the other side of the mountain that I hope gets here. I don’t wanna water my potted plants today!
Good call by you yesterday. All roads and sidewalks are dry as a bone here. Nothing at all overnight.

I don’t like disagreeing with CTP but I really don’t see much precip at all hitting MDT. Maybe a tenth of an inch sometime in the mornings but it looks dry after like noon.
2 minutes ago, Bubbler86 said:Looks like mdt has been light to mod rain for hours this evening per radar. Not raining at your place?
I haven't had a drop of rain in over 4 hours. Maybe we won't get much more after all. We'll see if tomorrow brings any surprises.

More importantly, if the high of 52 at MDT holds, it will be the latest day on record with a high of 52 or lower. We hit 51 so far at PIT, which won’t set any of that sort of record, though it’s a daily record.
Correct - historic "cold" for sure. Hard to believe we're experiencing temperatures typical of March on Memorial Day weekend.
