All other guidance was 1-2" for you so it was the only real question as of today. Cold front draped just south of PA has an early weekend conveyor belt of moisture.
Timing obviously is a bit disappointing but I'll take it when I can get it at this point.

EC backed away from you having DP/drying issues this weekend.
Good to hear - let's see if it holds.

I've only had two thunderstorms thus far this year. Just glanced at the gauge and it looks like maybe 6 hundredths of an inch, the race to a tenth of an inch is on!

.05" here, currently 58 and cloudy. Yes...58 degrees right now compared to 91 exactly 24 hours ago.

* And Congratulations to Phil Mickelson! What an accomplishment.
Indeed! Oldest to win a major and he's a lefty to boot! Always root for my fellow left handers. :

I saw your post. In my case the valley to my west kept drying out the marginal precip that did get around last spring and summer. Its frustrating to see grass/plants suffer.
Just had a very brief, light shower roll through. :)

EC started showing this result yesterday...still does. Other MR stuff still area wide with the rain this week. Hopefully EC is off.
You know how this went last year - every time there was an opportunity for rain to somehow miss the desert region of Rouzerville, it did.
Last evening I missed a shower by about 3 miles to my NE, today it's raining just to my SW. Now we wait another several days to see what happens.

64 this morning with nary a drop of liquid. It's cooler, and there's a nice sunrise.
WPC's 7 day take for QPF:
I'm still wary of the sharp drop in QPF as one travels east in PA. I'm not far from the .25" contour which would help some, but not enough.

Great to see the Sixers win game 1 !
Big win. Wizards came to play - my son was down, we're looking at possibly game #1 in round 2 if they advance.

Had a VERY brief rain shower that didn't even register in my gauge. Radar doesn't look at all impressive for the rest of the night, either.
The high for the day was 89.2 degrees.
Radar looks horrible.

I hope the current depicted very wet pattern gets our S/E folks as soon as it can. Tomorrow is a reach though EC drops the motherload on them late week...ruins Memorial day though.
My yard has never looked like this in May. At least from my memory.

CTP seems confident in showers tomorrow.
MondayShowers likely, mainly between 8am and 2pm. Cloudy, with a high near 66. Southeast wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%CTP says less than a tenth of an inch of precip though. (here)
They also lowered chances for later in the week to 30%/40%.

I think WSW criteria is 12 in the mountains. Lived in NWS Flagstaff, AZ area for a few years and I believe that was the case.
I've seen a WWA hoisted in the Sierra for 1 to 2 feet of snow. I've also seen forecasts for "snow showers" with accumulations of 29" to 37"

Shorts in the mid 40's is ballsy. LOL
I wear shorts all winter outside of when I'm in the office.

Goofus still says that we will be sick of rain two weeks from now and get out your coats and long pants for Memorial Day weekend.
CTP going with mid 70s for now - I guess that's the smart call this far out.
I will NOT get out any such thing at any point before next winter.

Got up to 86 here just after noon before clouds put the kibosh on reaching 90. 86.2 was my highest temp, down to 84.4 now under cloudy skies.
Anxiously awaiting some rain - not looking forward to temps in the 40s on Memorial Day weekend. That's horrible.

CMC is definitely hotter than GFS, Still a bit jumpy. Fortunately it still has a nice dose of qpf for Training. More late week than early like GFS. Good example of the jumpiness in that it lowered the early week qpf from 0z.

Good disco going, thanks both for the updates.
Meanwhile, it's a sunny and warm 86 here now.

Too soon. Oh wait, that would be 1991, not 1992 since it was at home. The series where we scored 12 runs in 7 games.
Did Three Rivers have tarps on the outfield upper level seating even in the playoffs? I sort of remember capacity being reduced to about 45,000, but I could be way off on that.

Anecdotal comment....I have been to Heinz once to see a Steelers/Cowboys preseason game. It was years ago but they had giant Ketchup bottle which would do something, maybe turn to the side like it was pouring, when the Steelers go in the "red zone". I have neve been able to shake that image when I put Ketchup on something. Sometimes I hum the accompanying music while doing it.
You got it!
Once Ben gets injured this season and Mason takes over, that bottle will be upright the rest of the year.

Been to two regular season Steelers games in my life, both in the Cowher era and both at Three Rivers. One was a 27-9 loss to the Bengals, the other was an overtime loss to the Eagles where they blew a 10 point lead in the closing minutes. Haven’t been since, except for a preseason game a few years back.
Been going every year since Heinz opened and we are the biggest jinx in sports history. It's comical - back in I think 2014, Tampa came to Heinz and beat the Steelers in the last minute. The Bucs finished 2-14 that year, yet won in Pittsburgh with their backup QB playing. THAT was a brutal loss. (and a VERY long drive back east to Lancaster)
Never saw a Steelers game at 3 Rivers, but I used to make weekend trips there to see the Buccos when i was younger. I'm not a Pirates fan but it was so easy to get great seats out there.

I think we are headed into a very wet period starting in 3-4 days and lasting for a bit.
Please, please be right Bubbler. WPC still isn't buying what you're selling: (.10" - .25")

CTP just took my 40% POP for Friday and made it 70%. Like to see that, especially 4 days out.
