No disrespect whatsoever, but he is a known warm weather fan who dislikes cold & snow.
He also is trying to save his Winter forecast like a lot of pro Mets.
He forecasted up to 20" in Lancaster which we are a long way from so I don't believe that either.
Why do you say he hates snow? This is just patently false.

Of course he knows his stuff, but he hates cold & snow.
No, he hates cold but he enjoys snow.

He must not have looked at 18z.
Or he might not just use models.

The latest long range runs of the RAP and HRRR have us at basically an inch or less. Really hoping this doesn't fizzle into a non-event.
Every mile in latitude is hurting us here...

They are going with ITT"s 2-4 vs. My still standing 3-6
I think we're both going down at this point. We shall see. You have bigger concerns right now. Please take care of yourself.

Yes, but here is the problem folks...we keep kicking the can further down the road. Sorry to be such a pessimist, but that 20th storm on the Euro will be gone next run. It's always 10 days away...
This is a fair post. I say that because while I acknowledge that the pattern does shoe signs of greatly improving next week, we've also seen great advertised patterns fail to materialize in previous years.
The only definitive thing that should be said is there is potential. Nothing more, nothing less. Anyone saying it will snow or it won't snow is just being foolish right now.

Outside of the NAM, I'm not loving what I'm seeing from the 12z suite so far. Even some of the less heralded hi-res models are uninspiring. I think I'd sign up for 2" right now and call it a day, just to be safe.
My snowfall prediction of 2-4" might not be as accurate as my sports prediction.

Absolute beat-down, still stunned that it was that lopsided, but the d-line was relentless without even blitzing.. revenge game on steroids. kudos to @Itstrainingtime for calling the decisive win in favor of the birds! E-L-G-S-E-L Eaaglesss!!!
Thank you. For whatever reason I 100% expected it. I told people it would be at least a 2 score margin and that was me being cautious. I thought they were WAY better than KC and tonight they showed it.

Long way to go …
And a proud team on the other sideline.
If the Eagles can run the ball they'll limit the Chiefs possessions and ability to come back.

I honestly thought the Eagles would control the game and win easily (see my pick earlier in the thread) but I didn't think they'd control it this way. At least up to this point.
Now, get the ground game going and chew 'em up...
-
Going to be 11 against 18 for the Eagles.

Here we go with the officiating already.

It actually ticked, literally ticked as in very little change, north from 6Z as to the areas that get the 1-3". It did restrain the top of the shield a bit. I went from 2.8 to 3.1. GEM with some healthy extra accums (like the rgem.)
Thank you!

The one January storm y'all did well in, the one model run had 11 shades throughout Clearfield county.
I distinctly remember you mentioning it then.
-
Remember the storm last month that virtually no model had much snow getting north of Harrisburg and the final result was a Rt. 6 jackpot in northern PA?
You never know. Anything can happen. Models missed that by literally 150 miles right up to gametime.

My call reminds 3-6 for the LSV :-). Been that way since wed or Thur.
GFS ticked south? Doesn't look like many in here get much.

Once again, York and Lancaster have like 5 different shades of snowfall from north to south lol. Seriously it happens ALL THE TIME!
Not all of the time.
Sometimes it's 10 shades.

I'm riding 2-4" with 2" north of the turnpike up to 4" at the M/D line. I don't see any reason to change.
If we want a big dog the week of 2/20 I think we want next weekend to cut. And I think it will.

For the record...I hope he is wrong. My forecast was and is 2-4". I'm riding a wave of great predictions and I want to nail this one too.
