My wife and I were up early yesterday to attend Fall Fest...headed out the door around 7am and was stunned when I turned on my wipers to clear off the condensation only to discover it was frozen.

Its just awesome to be away from the oven. Looks like nice stretch of autumnal weather coming up.
Went down on bike to OC MD for anniversary weekend with wife and another couple and my face is rather windburnt. Wind was crazy for a rather long duration. Outside of that, it was great to be chilly for once.
There was a Corvette show going on. Pretty cool to see them rumble up the boardwalk.
I run away from OCMD as fast as I can during the summer but this is a great time of the year to be there. Nice weather + no crowds = win.
@canderson I love me a good rainy day. Now if I can pick and choose I'd much prefer it to happen during the week and not on Sunday. My wife and I didn't get our river trail walk in yesterday.

Since the last 90's of the season seem to be gone (for now anyway), it seems like a good time to turn the page and discuss what is largely our favorite time of the year.
Here's to a great fall and winter.

Will try - but man the PA turnpike is not a friendly stretch of highway - lanes are so tight etc. my hope would be seeing something about the place there is a rest area (I am stopped at one now).
You get out west of the Susquehanna and there's a stretch that the pike is 3 lanes in each direction...also, once in the Cumberland Valley you'll have some open spaces where you'll be able to see for miles...

Match was lit up here in PA over the past hour. Storms are firing quickly in the mountains north of UNV...

You're closer to the forcing and multiple models carry some sort of cells or complex through your area. SEPA has a little mini tornado allery IIRC.
Yes, we do...which is precisely why I'm NOT feeling good. (as in...I really don't want this to happen)

Oh snap.
ETA: I'd feel pretty good about my storm odds today if I was in Lancaster/Millersville this PM.
I am squarely between those 2 locations and don't feel good about it at all, lol

I am relatively confident on this one....I think Milford south could see a 1-4" type snowfall, and south of Salisbury could see 5"+
Greetings from Lancaster county PA...I have family that lives in Lewes (Bay Breeze off King's Highway) and I always root for your area to get nice storms. I come down to visit at least twice of year and must say that I love that town. Here's hoping you guys do well with this!

Amazing how many windy Wednesday night/Thursday mornings there have been over the years. It's been a long/running joke in our neighborhood while we're all outside bright and early on Thursdays exchanging cans and lids with each other.
