  1. CTP versus the 84 hour NAM is like Ohio State versus Palmyra. No disrespect intended.
  2. I was watching (nerd alert) some live coverage on Virtual Railfan...it looked just like you described. And good for that dude and good for you down there enjoying the day. I love being there.
  3. Okay...I thought I missed something. When I read that, to say I was stunned is an understatement.
  4. Wait...CTP had an advisory up for here for Tuesday?
  5. At the risk of boring everyone with my fanaticism of trains, I was able to participate in some of the 611 activities in Strasburg last fall. Really cool to be a part of. They are charging nearly double for the 45 minute excursions pulled by 611 compared to 475 this weekend. Speaking of 475...what an amazing job the freight shop did getting her back and running after the accident last week. Strasburg operations are exceptional in nearly every way.
  6. I don't pay attention to snow chances until I think that I have a chance at getting snow.
  7. Just hit 70 here. Dewpoint is 67. Good times for 11/11.
  8. I hope everyone understands that I will NOT be doing that tonight...or any night.
  9. It's Friday night - I'll be up very late searching high and low for 384 hour digital fantasy snow maps that I can get all excited about.
  10. I don't claim no moral victories...70 here or bust. Currently it's 68 both here and at MU.
  11. ...and anxiously waiting for nightfall to minimize the melt... Yes indeed! Working from home today, we'll be heading out in a bit.
  12. Rain has stopped with .53" here - assuming we get a squall line tonight and not much more, good chance this ends under 1" in Maytown.
  13. Just got very bright here - temp is 66. 70 is looking quite possible.
  14. MU is already up to 67 now - seems like a pretty decent chance to me of reaching the 70s in some areas.
  15. Steady rain looks to be out of here in the next 30-60 minutes...breaks appearing in VA moving north:
  16. Steady rain, half inch officially in the bucket. Temp is up to 65...
  17. Yes - the storm in 2018 brought up 3"/hour rates here during the early afternoon hours. It took me 2.5 hours to make my typical 20 minute drive home from work.
  18. Just reached .3" here. Heaviest stuff has now moved up your way.
  19. Interesting...at the time I was about 6 miles from MU. I have an old weather journal where I recorded all sorts of weather events from 1978 through 1997. After that, family commitments changed my recordings to only marking down more significant snow events.
