  1. 61 with sunny skies and Franklin is up to his masterful game management once again. Sarcasm intended.
  2. I got a few degrees colder last night than I was anticipating - I think tonight in particular could be a rough night for remaining vegetation.
  3. 34 for the low, lots of frost around out there earlier.
  4. And...it was completely unintended! (I had to go back and re-read what I said after your response)
  5. Right behind you at 63. Sky is perfectly blue.
  6. I almost always listen to Steve and Jack call the game on the PSU network while muting the TV sound. Only times I don't do that is when they are too out of sync.
  7. I just came back in from a walk across campus here - it is a perfect fall day.
  8. Marcus Allen! (and Grant Haley) I've talked to 250,000 people that made up the crowd of 110,000 that night - I certainly believe that you were ACTUALLY in attendance!
  9. I forgot how vibrant the colors were until the sun broke through on my way to work this morning - lots of bright yellows and reds. Stunning!
  10. His forecast is specific to his area at 7000' of elevation where it snows 9 months a year. For you and me, that means rain and 34.
  11. MU's winter forecast will be out next Tuesday - I'll share once it's available.
  12. Kind of a tweener right now - at current rate I'll probably mow every 5-6 days for the next couple of weeks. I'm mowing today which will be #52 - I think (hope) that 75 in out of reach. LOL
  13. My veggies have really slowed now, not sure I'll be getting much out of the garden until next season. My yard on the other hand...is vibrant. Too vibrant. LOL Glad you got some water today. Here's to more by early next week.
  14. Now that's both funny and ironic - sun has peaked out here for the first time since Saturday. Temp is 65.
  15. It's gotten even darker here in Columbia. Fog and drizzle persist.
  16. I'm sorry, I didn't see the loop prior to my post. CTP isn't enthused for rain down our way either. I thought it looked good at first glance.
  17. @Bubbler86 - that line of showers to your west/southwest is looking pretty stout, at least right now it is.
  18. I hope so too. I'm fully aware that most in here have not had rain for several days like the snowman and myself have. It would be nice for all to get some water heading into the winter season.
  19. Picked up .08" of rain overnight, my 4 day total is 2.26". I'm ready to dry out. Speaking of which...I'm working in Columbia today...it's still dark and rainy here, but the sun has emerged from Washington Boro on south. It's coming. Hopefully. Maybe.
  20. At that moment, I doubt that he either knew or cared. LOL
  21. @paweather - this is for you...Mammoth Lakes, CA in Feb. 2017:
  22. Interestingly, there was a series of pics posted a few years ago from Mammoth Lakes that looked JUST like this one. In December a few years ago, the town received upwards of 200" in the final 10 days of the year. They can go through some long dry stretches...but when the pattern lines up, they can pile up the feet in a hurry.
