If the Euro shifts north, I wonder what the reaction in here would be lol
-
If the 12Z tomorrow shifts north, I think we're all gonna explode
-
0Z GEM has a weak first wave followed by a very nice snowstorm for some and ice storm for others
-
Ahh well, it might not be the blizzard of the year like a couple days ago but I'll happily take a high end WWA/low end WSW event

0Z GFS is a rainer

At hour 27, the 3K looks to be a smidge north, what a mess lol

Local news said on their weather report that they asked and the reason the IWX counties of Michigan had a watch and the other's haven't is because "The first tier of counties have a higher risk for more significant accumulations, as well as more blowing and drifting"

FV3 dumps over a foot for most of Indiana, Ohio and Southern Michigan

I'm betting that because of the uncertainty IWX will eventually go for a CWA wide Winter Storm Watch with amounts as 4-7 for now

Those NAM totals are the best we've had in Northern Illinois and Michigan in days

Low ends up a bit stronger on the NAM too

3z SREF came in weaker. I don’t think this is happening. Too much consensus from the globals and too much known amped bias from the hi res.
The SREF has a tendency to go up and down run to run, focusing on a single hours one isnt the best idea

06Z GFS is a touch northwest once in Ohio
-
At this rate, me and Stebo might actually get some good stuff lol
-
18Z FV3 is extremely north

Low almost gets into southern Indiana now, we're on track to end up where we were yesterday morning at this rate of north per run

It started that way, then actually ended up further south.
In the end, the southern stream trough ended up further south and is more positive tilt. The northern stream too a jump east too.
Will be interesting to see the EPS, everything else was north
Let's Talk Winter!!

In terms of reliability you can basically say "At least it's not the JMA"
