Low north of us and precip arrives in the dead afternoon, if this one could get delayed 6 hours we may have a shot... Right now looks like white rain at best like the ICON. I hope the rgem comes true but I have serious doubts.

I feel the same way, this was a historic storm for the region but it didn't feel that way because my backyard got relatively jipped. Was more a MECS imby and while memorable for the length, the intensity wasn't anything special. Would have been sick to be in the ccb like the video. I won't make the mistake again of just staying put and hoping for the best imby, I'm chasing the jackpot if it is within a couple hour drive... Wentzy I'm following you next time

Wow that's not bad time at all. When I saw how deep that was, I was like damn that's going to take forever to dig out. Glad you made it out okay and that the slide didn't result in anything serious. I've been in similar situations driving a bit too fast for the conditions since I have a jeep and sometimes, also foolishly, think I can handle anything mother nature can throw at me... you live and learn though! Also it was good to see someone stop and offer to help even if you were pretty much done at that point. Pa hospitality can be hit or miss at times

Yep, I don't see Monday being a deal for anyone outside of the lehigh valley and Poconos. That storm track combined with the time of day just equals fail for everyone else, don't care what the models show. Might be able to start as snow, but I don't see it sticking.

4.5" yesterday brings the total up to 33" in Hopewell. 7.5" yesterday brings the total up to 31" in Levittown. Guess my move didn't make too much of a difference, this year at least 40 inches definitely in play for both areas and I would lean on betting we get it. Seems rare that we get skunked in March of late.

I'm supposed to leave next Friday to go drive down and see my grandparents in upstate South Carolina. I'd wager this may actually be the Mid Atlantic's best shot at a big snowstorm all year based on that fact alone. I always attract bad weather when traveling...

Mod snow on my way into Trenton this morning, roads were all covered. Has since lightened up to snow TV. Still pretty outside though.

Going to get really slick tonight. Was light freezing rain the whole way back to Hopewell. "Only" 4" up here, some was likely lost to compaction though.

That's usually the good luck charm, Ralph downplays/lowers expectations right before the start and then gets slammed. Happened with the super bowl storm too. I hope he does it more often

I think tonight will be a nice topper to cover up the sleet layer. I bet most places see at least a coating but it looks to me based on guidance an addition inch or 2 seems likely from PHL north. N and W areas definitely seem favored though for it, we'll see. We are back to light sleet here, and now freezing rain. Glaze on all untreated surfaces, almost wiped out on the area I shoveled. Temp is up to 28F.

Precip has stopped here in Levittown, 7.5" final for now here. Over performer for sure! Anyone in the Hopewell/Pennington area have any reports? I'm curious how we did up there.

Just changed back over to 90% heavy snow in levittown.

Yeah but the WAA snows way overperformed to make up for it. We were all sleet in levittown 30 mins ago but not have changed back to 50/50 snow sleet. The sleet is accumulating quickly too. Up to 7" in Levittown. Curious how I'm doing up in Hopewell. My guess is 4-5". Haven't set up a webcam to my snowboard like ray yet.... That's next year's project

Super weird , I thought we were flipping, but it just went back to big fat flakes. Very unusual for levittown to be snow and nw to be sleet. Officially measured 6.5 here.

Just got to Levittown, easily 7-8" here, haven't officially measured yet but back to dumping all snow after a period of 50/50 snow sleet. Unbelievable storm!

Heavy stuff should continue until 1-2 pm but then coastal will take over and more light precip will develop this afternoon into tonight. Still a long ways to go!

Sleet line looks nearly stationary on the mason dixon line based on the CC radar. Waffling back an forth around chester it looks like. Great to see.

Heaviest snow of the storm in Trenton. Huge clumps falling from the sky, easy 1-2" hour rates. Temp at 23f.
