@rgwp96 Did you measure this morning?
-
@rgwp96 Hey saw you measured 5.2" by you, up the hill I recorded exactly 5.5" which isn't bad considering how things have gone.

Can't believe it, but I was actually looking forward to tracking this storm and now watching it play out. I guess I need some snow before I can appreciate spring warmth.

Got down to -.4 here
Yep, -1° up by me. Pretty crazy how we ended up below zero surrounded by warmth like this.

5° here. Pretty cool to follow the Mt. Washington conditions. As if -40° or more isn't bad enough, the 100mph winds just make it insane.

1 inch of snow and 2.14 of rain lol
Thanks, kinda figured around that lol.

Turned out to be a soaker here, right around 2 inches of rain. Had some heavy downpours last night.
@rgwp96Any idea what we got before the changeover?

Been snowing here all morning but nothing sticking to any surface.
-
Just cracked an inch here with the last downpour.

Been thinking about what would be the polar (no pun intended) opposite of the warm winter run we've had recently. Suppose we were having below normal weather in July which were to balance out what's been going on here this month. What would that look like? Does dry with high 60s with occasional mid 50s in July sound about right?
If I'm not mistaken, the average high is around 39 for the city right now, and in July at this time about 85. So let's say we have a 50 degree day now, that's +11, so -11 in July would be 74.

If we were to turn around and get a good February and at least half of March, that could still "save" winter. I mean you can't expect wall to wall cold and snow, we just don't get winters like that these days.
-
Despite the warmth we've become used to, this upcoming stretch is really impressive. First week of January with days and days of 50+ highs and some lows not even dropping below 40...that's insane. It's not like this past week where we had a temp spike but then it crashed the next day.

It's 3° here. Didn't expect that.

Nothing else to track man
Pretty boring
We still have two solid months of winter, and who knows what March can bring.
I think the expectations for December are always too high. It just isn't an ideal month for snow like it used to be. So far I have about 3 inches for the month, all of which has been washed away.

Hanging around 34° currently. I was impressed at the onset how heavy the snow came in. It coated everything very quickly including the roads that had salt residue from the last storm.
Been rain ever since though, heavy at times. I'd say we got maybe 1.5" before the changeover.

Not a bad event here at all. Measured about 1.5" out there. Crazy how time flies and we're back into the snow season again.
Definitely makes it feel more like the holidays.

Might be first teens tonight. 28 currently.
This stretch through Thanksgiving looks great.

Started out as some wet flakes and sleet, but changed over to plain rain pretty quick. About .60" here and 37 currently.

1.5" here so far. Not bad at all. Had some bursts of heavy downpours throughout the day.

What a stretch next week after the showers for Halloween. Looks like a bunch of 70 degree days. It's going to be spectacular for November.
Next week could easily pass for the first week of October, which ironically was way chillier.

About .25" here too.
The warmup starting on Saturday looks like it is worth watching.

An AN October isn't out of the question if some of the models are correct for last third
Looks like a quick cooldown and then it warms up again later in the week.

Actually was able to hit the 1" mark here. Around 9pm we had some pretty solid downpours on and off with some wind as well. Front will clear and make way for a great Friday/Saturday.

What a great day. Currently sitting on my back patio drinking a beer, comfortably in the shade in shorts and T-shirt. Can't beat this
Tomorrow through Sunday, with the exception of Thursday's pm rain, look pretty great for mid-October.
The foliage this year is noticeably earlier than last, with a lot of vibrant colors. I think these warm sunny days and cool nights have helped. Last year was so exceptionally AN that it was into November where things started turning.

Nice, by the time I was home it was too late to measure lol. An inch in March is pretty much gone like that.
