  1. Notice how the top 5 list contains the last three years. 1983 was an interesting anomaly as well.
  2. +1 lol. Although I do prefer heat with less humidity.
  3. Right, same thing goes in the winter. We see our coldest temps well after the solstice.
  4. Tons of Katydids out tonight. Sounds like Summer, feels like Summer.
  5. Yeah, this past Winter was a really backloaded one in terms of snow.
  6. We stay at the Lotus Inn now, but used to stay at the Coronado too. Hoping we both get to enjoy Wildwood this time around
  7. Same exact time we went last year, probably saw you lol. The weather was pretty bad, except for the night we got down there and the day we were leaving. This time around we're still sticking with the last week of July, as that's our typical time. As for predictions, it's a little far out to accurately forecast the weather. But, like Stormlover said, I'd expect conditions to be a lot better. IMO that was a fluke last year, because most times we've gone down have been great.
  8. This week, and into the weekend, will finally bring us some sustained sun and warmth. Overall it looks like a beautiful stretch of weather coming in.
  9. I'm genuinely amazed at how cold it is with the wind. The next few days are well, well needed.
  10. Yeah, I have pics from April 2016, and things were really blooming by now. Still has a barren and cold feel out there. Well I don't expect consistent 70's yet, it's too early. This weekend (Fri-Sat) is a good example of what I'm looking for.
  11. Tell me about it. Not looking for anything crazy, but let's at least get into the 70's.
  12. I love that sound at night, especially when you can sleep with the windows cracked.
  13. I remember us talking about this last Spring. The last couple of years it took until April for them to start singing here. I feel like the Katydids have been coming around later in the Summer as well.
  14. I agree with that. Feels like we haven't had a true front-loaded winter in years.
  15. The problem was this Winter started off kind of slow. If this type of pattern locked in early, it would have been historic. I'm very satisfied and ready for the heat lol. Maybe some wet flakes here and there, but Butler is done I think. You may have a chance at something more, as elevation really becomes important now.
  16. lol...surprisingly no. I was very impressed with this storm here. Ready to torch now
  17. Looks like 2 more inches on the deck since it was cleaned. Assuming I'm near 6 now.
  18. Lol I know the feeling. Decent rates here despite the flakes being minuscule. This storm should get me over 60" for the season which is pretty impressive. I'm ready to torch in April.
  19. I thought you were a fan of my precise measurements
  20. Oh that's interesting. Shame they have to stay in so long.
  21. They should just take away spring break, that's five days right there.
  22. Wow, that's a big difference, thank you. My table is a plastic composite, but I'd still like to do a comparison and cross-check accuracy.
