  1. Seems like the trend since 2015 may prevail to start, but will it hold through November and beyond is the question.
  2. At first I was impressed, then I realized most of them are probably just Tony lol.
  3. I've noticed the trees looking distressed for sure. Some, not all of course, lost their vibrant and rich green color like you mentioned. As for the sunset, well, that's always the first thing I notice (unfortunately). The decline into September is inevitable. I always accept it, but must admit, year after year I get that sad/nostalgic feeling that my favorite season is over. A lot of this hobby is preference; what kinds of things you do and don't enjoy. That's why I've learned to leave good old Anthony alone lol. I still have no tolerance for wrong information (not saying this applies to him), like when people say Summer is nearly half over a week or two after the solstice.
  4. Very true. Btw, you ended up with a great Summer weekend for the wedding. Have fun and congrats!
  5. Had some humidity this summer no doubt, but last was way worse. I enjoy the heat and wouldn't even want that back.
  6. Alright, I see what you're saying. An April event would be interesting since we had an early storm this year.
  7. An F- lol, what was 11-12 or 97-98 then? I mean I totally agree that all the hype was a joke, but we did still get some cold shots and snow. Without the November and early March storms it would have been way worse, but I'd give this winter a C-.
  8. I care Rob Anyway, hoping for a drier spring and less humid summer. When is golf season?
  9. Aren't you kind of rooting for warmth at this point too though? We've had rainstorm after rainstorm, and when the cold finally comes in, we can't even manage a few inches of snow.
  10. Very true. As I said earlier, it's been so hard to get a true snowstorm this year.
  11. Yeah, we have a decent amount in the basement. Just way, way too much rain, and that glacier snowpack did not help anything either.
  12. 2.5" here as measured at 10:35 pm. Sleet is mixing in now as well.
  13. March 7. My area cashed in on some major rates. Best I've ever seen. January 2016 was an impressive storm here too.
  14. And then two years later in March 2018 we got this:
  15. I love the Christmas season and the music that goes with it.
  16. Definitely. Both explain weather phenomenon very well IMO. Speaking of leaf drop, my neighbors tree (which is almost entirely over our property) usually doesn't shed until after Thanksgiving, sometimes even into December. However, after last Friday's cold and wind combo, they dropped off faster than I've ever seen before. Most other trees around here are either completely bare, or if they do have leaves it is a mix of brown/dull colors. Really not much green left. Unlike last year, I waited to start raking until now, otherwise the leaves come right back.
  17. It's a shame, I hope radio doesn't die out. I like 101.1, 104.3, 103.7, and many others. Fun to listen to the various DJ's. But, as we see more and more, the human element of things is being replaced/removed.
  18. I like going by the criteria that makes it seem further away On the other hand, Summer starts on June 1st...
  19. It came on way too fast. If this was February I wouldn't mind. I'd gladly take 60s right now.
  20. Nah, the other night looked promising, but clouds ended up getting in the way. 34 is my lowest temp so far.
  21. It's a shame because we had very nice color here, but it didn't last long and a lot of trees thinned out early. Not bad though considering the rough start. Like I said in the interior forum, my first hard freeze usually comes in strong, and this year is no exception. Friday's low is forecasted to be 23° currently.
