    I didn’t do well with the frontal passage as far as rain is concerned, but the breeze and dropping dews are pretty nice. Fingers crossed for the stalled front this weekend.

    Regarding 90+ degree days, the record for BWI is 59 for the season in 2010 and 2019. This summer, there have been 22 through yesterday, and with another two solid months of summer remaining, the potential is there to make a run at the record.

    Disappointing way to end nasty heat though I did pick up nearly 3/4” last night. If I had gotten skunked for the weekend, I’d be pretty hard to tolerate right now. Sorry for those that got shut out.

    The lantern flies are out of control in my yard and at first I was trying to kill them. But I’ve discovered that so far, they are only attacking the Tree of Heaven seedlings that I have been battling for the last couple of years, but to no avail. Nothing kills those dang weed trees, so I’m letting the lantern flies have a whack at it.
