  1. Thanks brother. Have a great trip across the pond. Let’s meet up again in September for a beers.
  2. Enjoy the trip! I’m currently in Indiana Dunes National Park. Heading out to Grasslands, Banff, and Jasper in Canada, and finishing up in Glacier. Three week road trip! Currently sipping a barrel aged imperial stout. The bottom one if my downsizing doesn’t destroy the quality. Yum!
  3. Melanie Newman tweeted about the sky last night. https://apple.news/ADMSsSdBhROOO6SYhOtnaxw 1.33” last night. 7.22” for the month!
  4. What a game. Someone revive @WxUSAF
  5. Starting with a coke. I rarely drink soda but after working outside a bit, I craved it. Moving on to an old fashioned @CAPE style. With maple syrup.
  6. I had to look that one up, but some storms firing north of 70 west of Frederick. Maybe they’ll hold together.
  7. Definitely. I was only addressing @mattie g’s concern regarding the consistency of any one station reporting regularly.
  8. If you have an account, you can do a station report summary. Here’s mine, for example, but you can chart any station.
  9. I’m not trying to start any debate or conversation about the contents of this article other than to say that I might start looking for property in Europe! Ice Age!
  10. The possible good news is that Mountcastle will probably get more playing time. Some regular at bats and maybe he could get hot. Is Stowers healthy? I don’t think he’s the guy to take over CF but maybe get him a few more games of big league experience.
  11. Man, this O’s team is having a run.
  12. Best night of sleep in months and slept right through the rains. .52” and nearly 6” recorded in July.
  13. I couldn’t care less about professional golf these days, but I am enjoying watching The Open just for the weather. I’d love a day like that here right now.
  14. If the O’s can keep this up, bring on October.
  15. Wth? What’s the latitude? That’s nuts.
  16. Gonzalez was terrible tonight. Consistent, but awful with balls and strikes.
  17. Strike zone tonight has been so bad. Consistently horrible.
  18. When are these dew points going to start falling? Still muggy af out there. edit: little “line” of pop ups heading out of Carroll county. Hopefully that’s the leading edge of drier air.
  19. .74” And it’s spectacular outside.
  20. Can’t argue that the AL east isn’t the best division. Sadly, they play each other so much that they beat each other up. Come playoff time, the teams in the weaker divisions have the advantage because they aren’t playing every division game for their lives. Bullpens get beat up in the East. Just my take.
  21. I see why this storm in the Atlantic is named Don. Persistent fella!
