    Yinzers it's official we have a new record. Didn't think it would be possible but Kpitt has officially given up on winter and it's only December 4. Absolutely incredible. As I type this I can hear the wind howling and the pinging starting so the front has arrived.

    Appears the good banding will remain north agh county. Gonna be hard to get anything notable. In positive news the long range looks so volatile that we may see winter weather again before the end of December.

    The first signs of precipitation was a mix. So gonna be interesting to see what if anything accumulating we get here in the metro.

    Weird I figured they would say 1-2 but they aren't bullish on that. Hopefully we see an overperformer. I know it's only December but we are snow starved.

    Ensembles don't look bad. Looks like we will have a chance to see some accumulating snow in this period.

    Umm I know I'm in the wrong sub forum but are we looking at the same models. Cold looks to be becoming more established and there are multiple threats which include clippers.

    No high pressure for the Thanksgiving storm. NAM shows one scenario where if the low doesn't get too close that we can try and stay Frozen. This is a terrible set up and that WTOD will win out but long range looks promising.

    This is the only political reference I'll make but I trust these models just like i trust the election polls that came out this past election. So any snow they show I'm highly skeptical. I'm saying we see maybe an inch at most.

    I doubt if this gets to get a 4 or 5 and weakens at landfall that will do much if anything for the surge. Everybody always focuses on the winds but look at Katrina.

    Almost that time of year. Amazingly I don't think we even received that much precip today. Looks like a general .9 inch unless I'm missing something.

    Just glad we left early enough from the beach to beat the rain. It would have been brutal driving through what is occurring to our east.
