i was a groomsman in an outdoor wedding on a day it poured...it was memorable and awesome, everyone had umbrellas for the ceremony itself and then took shelter under the tent for the reception...groomsmen snuck a boat out and did a quick fly-by of the reception which was not entirely well received but as long as you have an open bar everyone will have a great time... -

It definitely is, I just wish people had a little more curiosity and would at least try to experience a place for themselves before buying into its reputation…I’ve been surprised before in my travels that a place didn’t fit a certain narrative I had built up in my head about it…as the kids say, it is what it is, not a big deal, I just found that exchange funny (and I didn’t even mention the kicker in that exchange:”I love me some primanti brothers” lmao)

I’m not even arguing about the merits of the city. I love it but some don’t. But to hate a city without even ever having visited it to make your own judgment is hilarious.
