    It would be hard to be worse, they’ve given up more than 500 yards in each of their last three games. That’s a new NFL record. Lewis last coordinated a defense in 2002. Let’s just say, I am skeptical that he is the magic elixir to fix this mess. Especially since it has all unfolded under his long seemingly never-ending coaching watch.

    Bengals defense is historically awful (as a bengals fan the stats back up what the eyes have seen , it’s bad) - pretty great spot to get Jackson his first start.

    Thing on cold air is we just saw a deep blanket of snow laid down through upstate ny and into Canada - I like having that up there already as it helps any highs in that spot produce. The re-inforcing cold air shot showing for thanksgiving might help with antecedent air too. I guess I am wondering about getting better with cold air maybe by the start of the window of opportunity than we had been thinking.

    So...relying on a 17-year-old to measure in my abscence at work was...sub-optimal. Turns out i got two inches, not “just over one”. I have failed as a parent - he just didn’t care much to get it exact. difference from downtown out to my neighborhood in terms of snow coverage was stark.

    Can a warm nose set up between areas like DC/Nova and jackpotville? It was weird seeing the reports of snow in DC (and my wife was sending me pics from NE DC where she works of snow on ground) at same time for about an hour that we were still rain/sleet up this way. Does warm air at certain levels work that way?

    My son says a little over an inch at the house. Thrilled with this for a lid lifter on the season. Some stickage to streets in downtown Balt and sidewalks definitely...caved.

    Yeah, balt city downtown really didn't do well in this one, but seeing frozen is a win in any event for this time of year down in urban heat island hell.

    All things being equal, this is a tremendous start to the season. Too many years we have been chasing one of these in early January...trying to get on the board.

    At work and just found out we have a delayed opening until 10:30. Guess I will go for a walk downtown and try to find snow and will it a hair colder.

    Yes. Just got in to work (Corner of Charles and Fayette). just wet - rain/snow mostly rain down here. Kinda disappointing. Hope what is in DC makes it here.
