  3. On the turning away From the pale and downtrodden And the words they say Which we won't understand "Don't accept that what's happening Is just a case of others' suffering Or you'll find that you're joining in The turning away" It's a sin that somehow Light is changing to shadow And casting it's shroud Over all we have known Unaware how the ranks have grown Driven on by a heart of stone We could find that we're all alone In the dream of the proud On the wings of the night As the daytime is stirring Where the speechless unite In a silent accord Using words you will find are strange And mesmerized as they light the flame Feel the new wind of change On the wings of the night No more turning away From the weak and the weary No more turning away From the coldness inside Just a world that we all must share It's not enough just to stand and stare Is it only a dream that there'll be No more turning away?
  4. I don't know how this whole business started Of you thinkin' that I have been untrue But if you think that we'd be better parted It's gonna hurt me, but I'll break away from you Well, just give me the sign and I will be gone, yeah feel for you, baby (How much I need) well I need your touch (How much I live) I live for your loving That's how much (that's how much) That's how much, that's how much I sleep alone, and late at night I'm dreamin' Of the togetherness that seems to be leaving me I'd give it all and then I'd give some more If you would only love me like you had before Well, take hold of my hand and all will be forgiven, yeah feel for you, baby (How much I need) I need your touch (How much I live) I live for your loving (That's how much) that's how much That's how much, that's how much So you try (try), try to stay in the middle And then you cry (cry), well you cry just a little Then you both realize Just how foolish you've been And you try to make amends But you're better off as friends 'Cause that's how much (that's how much) That's how much, that's how much How's your life been goin' on? I've got a wife now, years we've been goin' strong Oh, no, there's just something that I've got to say Sometimes when we make love I still can see your face Ooh, just try to recall When we were as one, yeah feel for you, baby (How much I need) I need your touch (How much I live) I live for your loving That's how much

  8. The bottle was just taunting me. It’s less mouthy now. Halfway through it.
  9. I’m gonna drink this whole goddamn bottle. Because.
  10. I’ve decided to get hammered while making fajitas with a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon. just because.
  11. Two prime time games for my Bengals. Burrow aided there.
  12. Snow chasing rain will definitely happen on May 9.
  13. The sunshine is most welcome today.
  14. You might as well be posting from a different planet compared to what we are seeing in Balt City. The clouds here are about four feet off the deck and it is raining and cold/miserable.
  15. Made it out for a bike ride on the NCR trail. Glorious.
  16. This just isn’t true. I am married to a teacher and you are just making shit up again. Teaching remotely is a nightmare, they all want to go back. You just throw out bullshit right wing talking points from Fox News like it is something that is based in reality. Stop it.
  17. I planted the annuals. No regrets.
  18. Yeah, counting on it. We are planting our flowers in the planters tomorrow - and this will be the first time planting since my wife's mother passed away last June and her gardens were always awesome and we are doing this tomorrow with her in mind. So, yeah, dry and sunny would be nice from a personal standpoint for me and Jen.
  19. Yeah, that wasn't us. We haven't had consecutive sunny dry days here in it seems like forever. I need my ground to stop being spongy...
  20. Its beyond frustrating at this point. Need some sun and some drying days.
  21. I can't believe it is raining again this AM.
  22. Dammit. Wrong crew hired.
  23. Hopefully the Fast and Furious crew are the drivers for the caper.
  24. Sure. And, also the need to feed their families.
