Phin, what are you at roughly for this season snow accumulation?

Tip, I want to say thank you this past winter season for posting a lot of threads for storms and potential dates to keep an eye out for, same for Ray, Scott, Will and everyone else (whose real names I don't know etc). I am not a hot/humid Summer person, Fall/Winter guy......life is short, enjoy all the seasons, before you know it we will all be talking about the upcoming Winter potential, and yes we will be a year older. Just wondering Tip, if this year you started to become a winter enthusiast as you say? Just don't recall years past, of you posting so many threads etc. Its all good....carry on.

Ray, I have been sitting back and watching, is it me or is this thing moving way faster then first thought/

Alot of great points on energy, I could be totally "off base", I think the USA consumes about 20 million barrels A DAY! I also "think" in our country, we only produce about 11 million barrels a day. The rest comes from other countries, Canada is our top importer, Russia is 3rd or 4th? Anyways, I dont think we will see instant relief, you are talking months, yes, we things get resolved (hopefully), price drops happen, its also the other countries, that produce, but all over the world it effects all. I was telling my wife last night, "do you want to hear some trivia on gas"? She gave me a look like "F/U", well I said oil that is traded on the market also known has a barrel is about 49 gallons, it take half of that almost to produce about 21 gallons of gas, I have no idea on diesel etc. She then told be , I just put $30.00 in my car @ $4.49 per. gallon...........I get it.

Agreed....wont take much, will shall see, then again, i wasn't expecting 4" of snow yesterday either..

Well Ray, I'm still holding out...maybe alone, however, snow equipment will remain on till April 5th, we all know better.

That's no that Ray we have come to know! Yes on MLB...sucks Weather, 24 hrs ago you seemed more "upbeat", cold will be lurking, this week sucks, however, I still have faith of 2 more plowable storms, for me I'm talking 3"+, however, the end is near, after April 5th, not interested..

I must say, had a low of 5 this am, up to 26 clouds, it is cold.

You know Scott, funny you say that, "should be a warm one", your a Met , others say in Fall should be a good winter, and then crap hits the fan, things don't line up climo etc Cant the same apply to Summer or are the dynamics different then forecasting cold and snow?
