  1. This is miserable Weather that’s not even putting a dent into the historic Franklin County drought! I guess I’ll need to stain my fence tomorrow. Great forecast CTP! All week long, their forecast for today was partly cloudy with highs in the 70’s....Awesome.
  2. There is currently more light rain in Marysville that isn’t even showing on radar! I’m supposed to stain our new fence today. Does anyone have an idea on how long it should take to clear up today?
  3. Lol, I’m just joking around! But, I really do strongly dislike the Cowboys!
  4. This is funny and well done sir! I am starting to get excited for the snow season. We flip the calendars to October next week!
  5. I like your first comment very much... The second comment should read E-A-G-L-E-S ...Eagles!!!!
  6. I would rather never get snow again than root for that team! How many years did you live in Texas?
  7. Again, how do I block a poster after doing something like this?
  8. 95-96 was probably the greatest Winter of my lifetime so far. It started in early and ended late, and delivered 77 inches of snow to Harrisburg. That week in early January of 96 is legendary. The Blizzard of 96 delivered around 2 feet of snow to most of us. Then there was an over performing Clipper a couple of days later that delivered 4 more inches. The week was topped off by a coastal storm that brought a foot of snow to much of the LSV.
  9. Lol, I would like to forget last season! Only 1 way to go this season. Even half of normal snow this season would seem decent after last year!
  10. Another night with Frost Advisories for a good amount of CTP tonight.
  11. We might as well save it up for December at this point and hope that there is some cold air around so that we can shovel it!
  12. 83-84 looks like it was right around average with the total seasonal snowfall in Harrisburg with 31 inches that Winter. Here is a nice reference chart of the seasonal snow totals for Harrisburg since 1980 courtesy of CTP.
  13. Or a 980 low 50 miles off of the coast of OCMD with an Arctic High parked over Quebec!
  14. I really don’t remember seeing a Frost Advisory posted so early in the Fall for most of the LSV. Usually we are well into October until we see our first Frost Advisory in the LSV.
  15. I can’t wait until the Frost Advisory is replaced with a Winter Weather Advisory later this Fall!
  16. I’m enjoying this early Fall weather. We have had some very warm Septembers in recent years, so I will certainly take this stretch of Fall conditions. I love the chilly mornings and warm afternoons with no humidity. The breeze today was very refreshing as well.
  17. That is way above my range of weather knowledge! @MAG5035 would probably be able to provide some more thoughts.
  18. Last night I was disgusted by the performance of my Philly sports teams on Sunday. I cheered myself up by going back to read our Winter thread from 2015. We had many snow events which were mostly the 3 to 5 inch type of storm. There was also the record cold of February 2015. We had a lot of fun in here that Winter!
  19. That’s a great discussion from CTP. That smoke has traveled a long way to PA. Happy first CTP Frost Advisory for at least 1 County!
  20. So, I thought that today was supposed to be sunny & 75 ? Right now there are clouds and light rain...
