  1. The 0z Euro was the best of the overnight runs to bring decent snow to the LSV while heavy snow gets to Philly, NYC & New England. We have a few days to move the track 50 to 100 miles west to get better snow to the Susquehanna Valley if we get better phasing of all of the pieces.
  2. @losetoa6 I’m not sure why some folks in the interior mid Atlantic thread crew are writing off the chance at a better outcome for the coastal? The 12z Canadian today showed how this can work for all of us to get a good snow hit. We still have a couple of days until this will be resolved. It won’t take much to get what we need to score a Warning level event back here.
  3. Just look at the 12z Canadian for now! The 18z Euro looked better at the end of its 90 hour run. Still lots of time for a few adjustments.
  4. Good thing we still have some time. Hopefully everything trends to a 12z Canadian like solution. Everything is still on the table, from partly cloudy to side swiped by a few inches of snow to major coastal snow storm.
  5. My bad… Who will take the naming honors? @losetoa6 ?
  6. Here is the 6z GFS Kuchera snow map, which looks a lot like the Canadian.
  7. The 6z GFS looks a lot lot the 0z Canadian. We are very much alive & well for this weekend’s coastal chance.
  8. Here are a few more surface frames from the 0z Canadian.
  9. Here is that 0z Canadian run that @MAG5035 mentioned. Very nice development at 500 and the surface low responded with a strengthening coastal low tracking from the Carolinas to NJ, where it slows for a bit south of Long Island. We are back in the game!
  10. The @Itstrainingtime coastal storm this weekend is alive & well on the 6z GFS!
  11. MDT recorded .1 of snow yesterday. MDT is at 10.1 for the season, which is now 1.6 below normal through yesterday’s date.
  12. Williamsport recorded 4.5 inches of snow yesterday. I’m surprised you hit we didn’t hear from our friend @Wmsptwx
  13. Wow! Great news…! I fell asleep early last night…sounds like I will not be getting that much sleep the rest of the week due to all of the tracking!
  14. The 18z EPS improved for next weekend. More left leaning low tracks this run. Hopefully the beginning of a trend. 18z top 12z bottom
  15. “Heaviest” light steady snow of the day now in Marysville. Flake size is increasing.
  16. I currently have a light coating on my car tops & snow piles. Very light snow falling. You are right about Clippers… I have a saying that I developed when I was a young weather fan….”never count on a Clipper”!
  17. It looks like the good band of precip has pushed east of the mountains and should be on our doorstep soon. There is precip all the way back to eastern Ohio that will hopefully ride east along the turnpike this evening. I still want my inch of snow…lol!
  18. The 12z EPS is still close enough for next weekend to still keep tracking.
  19. Dew points are very low…temps will cool back off a few degrees once a little better precip arrives, plus it’s been frigid the last few days…I think most snow that we manage to get will stick no problem.
