  1. Yes, unfortunately the 6z GFS stepped back in the wrong direction.
  2. The 6z NAM & 6z RGEM are vastly different. Hopefully later today we begin to get some resolution on the outcome.
  3. The 0z GFS came back north from its 18z run to get Advisory snow to the LSV. Hopefully it trends back to something like a couple of those runs from early on Wednesday. 0z top vs. 18z bottom
  4. 0z RGEM at the end of its 84 hour run looks good for CTP snow, with more to follow if the run would have extended.
  5. @Itstrainingtime & @paweather Do you think the Sixers will trade for Harden by the deadline tomorrow?
  6. Lol, yes! I’ll take my chances… History is on my side… And his calls are typically not so good!
  7. Lol… I can’t wait to bump your post when We are measuring snow again, possibly as early as Sunday!
  8. The 18z Euro was a step in the right direction for Sunday snow at the end of the 90 hour run. 18z top vs. 12z bottom
  9. The 6z GFS shows a way to get good snow into southern PA this weekend. Most of the snow here is from interaction with the cold front. The main coastal still gets going too far offshore, but the potential is there to pull that back a bit closer in to deliver even more. I would sign up for the 6z GFS right now.
  10. As @MAG5035 said, the 18z GFS gets us some Super Bowl Sunday snow in southern PA.
  11. @losetoa6 is busy in the Mid Atlantic thread working on reeling in the Valentines Day snow storm!
  12. If Valentine’s Day snow doesn’t work out, then the 0z GFS gives us another chance on President’s weekend.
  13. They had the most in depth info of anything that most of us had access to back then. Many great forecasters on there that I learned a ton from when I was growing up.
  14. Yes! I forgot about the weather phone #. I remember the days leading up to the Blizzard of 93 calling that phone# several times per day!
  15. It’s good to know that there are many like us on this weather board. I used to watch the local news and flip around trying to catch all 3 weather reports when I was in middle & high school. Weather World was a must watch every day during the Winter at 5:45 pm. The trusty old Weather radio also was a must listen a few times per day during the Winter, and even more when storms were in the short term. The Weather Channel was also great back in the 90’s as a go to before the Internet really took over towards the turn of the century. I used to look at newspaper forecast pages from various papers when I would stop by a convenience store to try to get any weather info. The internet changed everything with more information from various platforms; including forecaster blogs and our own access to the weather models.
  16. No harm meant by my lol… I forgot about your early season preference. We all enjoy & prefer our snow in different ways which makes this hobby fascinating.
  17. Yes indeed, happy hour 18z GFS joined the Valentine’s Day snowstorm party.
  18. We also had over 1 foot of snow in March of 17, 18 & 19.
  19. Lol, you didn’t enjoy February 5th to 10th of 2010?
  20. 12z Canadian has a storm on Valentines Day as well, so at the least the Euro is not alone.
