  3. Lol, that’s interesting with Freezing rain with well over freezing temps! Maybe they had an office holiday celebration up there that got a little out of hand?
  4. They might need to bring the plows through 1 more time!
  5. Every day that we can avoid 85 & humid from now until September is a win!
  6. We do have a great chance of making history today. CTP has this in their discussion. CLIMATE... Record cold (minimum) high temperatures are possible on Saturday. Current record cold high temperatures for 5/29 and 5/30: MDT..57F (1990) | 58F (1953) IPT..55F (1967) | 53F (1953) AOO..52F (1990) | 54F (1984) BFD..49F (1967) | 48F (1984) STC..51F (1990) | 49F (1953)
  7. Thankfully this isn’t really Winter or else meltdowns in here would be underway!
  8. CTP says we need might not get as much rain today as previously anticipated.... Models seems to have shifted in their solutions for later this afternoon and tonight, whereas previously it appears another wave would enhance shower activity over the eastern half of central PA by tonight. It now appears more likely that this area will be farther east and southeast, with a continuation of moist southeast flow bringing drizzle and spotty light showers with less QPF than previously expected later today and tonight. Regardless, the persistent chilly/moist easterly flow will maintain unseasonably cool and damp conditions with highs more typical of March than late May.
  9. I agree that breaks in the heat are essential for me to make summer more tolerable. I can handle a few days of 90’s better if I know that there are a few days of 70’s on the way.
  10. @paweather Start driving now to Saint Mary’s PA! Flurries reported there with the last hourly Observation on the CTP website! ST MARYS FLURRIES 46 45 93 NE10
  11. Yes, their updated forecast really extended the rain well into Sunday. They also further lowered the Sunday temps.
  12. Our 2 week drought is mercifully over! Let the lawns & yards rejoice!
  13. Hopefully they put the plows back on the trucks!
  14. Steady rain moved in this afternoon and the roads here quickly caved! All surfaces covered. There is currently a little lull here now, hopefully rates pick up again soon! The radar to my west looks great!
  15. What time will they issue the Winter Storm Warning ?
  16. The daily climate report for MDT seems to be off for yesterday. They only put .11 of precip as the daily total on the overnight daily climate summary. It looked like there were a few rounds of showers to pass through Middletown yesterday and last evening. The hourly precip reports for MDT show nothing recorded since 5/24.
  17. Congrats! This is good day...Sixers win & needed rain!
  18. It looks like Lancaster & York are about to get a good line of storms moving through shortly.
  19. Sorry to say, but steady rain has started again now in Marysville.
  20. Hopefully no storm knocks out my power during the 4th quarter of the Sixers game tonight!
  21. More on the way soon for the Harrisburg area tonight.
