The ones talking about the oozing big Dog potential are just going off the H5 Look that is primed...and saying that it holds some big Potential. But all the caveats apply obviously...lots of times great patterns don't live up to their potential....is this one of them? Only time will tell.

Lol....It's just one run of a crap model anyways..do you really think it will all turn out like the 6z is showing? This weekend was always going to be a crapshoot leading into a much better pattern. The real good news is the pattern still looks very good after this weekend. And....this weekends system is in the dreaded Mid range where the models start to diverge and lose systems(almost every single system seems to go through this evolution on the modeling), it'll sort out come Thursday/Friday, and most likely come back to 2-4/3-5 for most interior areas. Then we look forward to the better pattern. If that doesn't produce much.....then we call it a Ratter then!

Just the typical mid range debacle as usual...give it 36-48 hours, and it’ll be back to the big front end thump.

No, what I think Jerry means, is the event before the big blizzard in late Jan 15, was a 1-4 inch wet snow, messy melting slop mess, which Scott thought/and it looked to be at the time, was gonna inhibit the potential bigger system coming up for that Monday/Tuesday time frame. So maybe this weekend’s potential could be a sloppy messy precursor, that gets the ball rolling so to speak, and leads to a bigger event a few days later...?? That’s the way I read and took Jerry’s post..?? But maybe I’m mistaken?

The tenor of the season so far is for things to de-escalate as we approach, so I can see where Hubb Dave is coming from. But...I’ll be up north sledding next weekend, so that should almost guarantee a big hit here for everybody lol.

Na...a one day mild up in NNE isn't gonna hurt them much, and Maine resorts(Sunday River, Sugarbush) are looking just fine. Northern Maine gonna get dumped on Sunday/Monday. 65 here Sunday and 8 degrees up there.
