Lol I loved the 80’s..music was awesome and I became a teenager in 81...and had a blast all through the decade for sure. But you are totally correct that it just totally sucked for winter storms and winter enthusiasts. But we always had the hope going, but got let down 95% of the time in that department. But other than a pathetic wintertime..it was a very fun decade for me and many others.

Thanksgiving 89..I was 21. Riding my sled around the neighbor that T-Day morning..Real nice little storm that was. One of the few that actually worked out on the positive side.

92-93 was decent and of course 93-94 and 95-96. Quite the turn around from the 80’s. Early 80’s(79-80, 80-81)sucked here too..believe me. But when your 4,5 and 6 years old in the early to mid 80’s, you’re certainly not getting/understanding the total idea that a mid teen ager is understanding at that same time.

YUP..FOR SURE. We are the same age...we know the 80’s well, and everything just always went to crap with almost every single storm..it was dreadful! And just quite unbelievable how bad a run that decade was with snowstorms.

Of course I don’t. I said what I said cuz I was being comical about the off hour runs. Geez, I guess only METS can make funny comments about off hour runs...and hobbyists can’t.

My only point was for comic relief by saying that..as Dendy did yesterday too. But Yes, the 0z was good last night and so was 6z this morning. Wish we could go back to that Nuking Closed H5 low underneath us idea of those runs.

Lol..he talks like he was actually old enough to really understand the 80’s...all of the 80’s. He was a lil twerp in the 80’s. But he is right..most of the80’s sucked for snowstorms...90% of the storms dudded out most every time.

Ya I think it’s done..stick a fork in it! It had us on our seat edge for 36 hours, thinking we could actually pull off a decent snowstorm in a sh*t pattern for a minute there. But reality is back..and it’s no Jennifer Aniston, or Halle Barry that’s for sure.

Dendy was all over the off hour runs legend yesterday when they showed the nice hit for SNE, and stole CNE and NNE Snow on the Euro lol....that’s why I said that .

Lol...I was actually waiting for the big Cave....does it almost every storm now. Shows something decent for a few runs(sucks everybody in) then goes to Sh*t with the whole thing in one run. Maybe it comes back at 18z lol...it's that erratic now. I didn't have to tantrum it this time....alot of others did it for me.

Oh I agree for the most part. But it’s shat on itself just a couple weeks ago, so it’s struggled of late too. I was speaking of “Consensus” as T Blizz was commenting on..there’s been none this season so far on any system at this relatively closer in time frame, Which is rather weird. When the Euro is showing something positive for a few runs in a row, at this closer in time frame..I’m certainly liking having IT on our side rather than any of the other models. If the Ukie is with it, it lends even more positive support. Let’s hope it doesn’t start wavering the other direction again?

Well it was only yesterday that if we saw some flakes at the end it was a victory/success. So I guess if you go back to that idea, then even some slop is good..right.

There’s been zero consensus on every Storm this season so far Inside day 4. Not one system it seems has had any consensus at this range this season. It’s the year of pick which model you like...cuz they all show something totally different at 90 hours.

But Kevin, if we go by the GFS/FV3 solution...it plays right into your call of no snow till after 1/20. You should be rooting for it to keep the crap solution, this way you’ll be that much closer to making the right call.
