  1. As modeled, I’d say absolutely, if not longer than that.
  2. Yes, not around these parts is what I was meaning. I should have made that clear.
  3. Thank you pal. Holy smokes that’s incredible..I’ve never seen amounts like that in rainfall modeled.
  4. Scooter would you be able to show a graphic on that run?
  5. Ya that’s not good…if those 6 plus inch amounts play out, lots of areas are gonna be inundated for sure. That’s a ton of rain in a very small window.
  6. Plus, Not a whole lot of room left to put all this water that’s coming.
  7. Started raining here about 6:30 this morning..and it’s been steady from the start. Radar looks juiced and primed. Moderate rain currently.
  8. That’s a lot of rain. 6-7” for a good chunk of western CT.
  9. Ida’s spin on the radar/and visible sat view is still pretty vigorous.
  10. His mulch beds soak up gallons of water.
  11. I was gonna say that same thing lol..ya don’t see rainfall maps that look like that to often up around these parts.
  12. I’m Curious if that’s where this is heading though?? Very Interesting.
  13. Man the 50’s were quite the decade for Southern New England Hurricanes. I remember my grandfather always talking about them..Carol, Donna and Edna if I remember correctly?
  14. Oh yes I realize that ‘38 was the king. But was carol a cat 3 as Kevin said?
  15. Really?? Hmm Never knew that. Interesting. Obviously long before both our times. I just thought it was ‘38. Thanks for that tid bit.
  16. You know the deal…they’re just hoping for exciting weather…nothing more. Cat 3 up here is a once in 2 lifetimes storm. Last one was 1938, hasn’t been one since. I wouldn’t be too worried.
