  1. Well if you buy that, then this incoming supposed good pattern is gonna be REALLY short lived..like maybe 5 days long..if you buy that. Cuz that says late Jan to late Feb. And by the time the good pattern sets in..it’s gonna be close to Late Jan.
  2. Lmao...good one. Thats why his post made zero sense?
  3. Agree with you on that. Ya that post was just ridiculous. What’s he looking at??
  4. Really....when things were looking pretty bleak, you’re telling everybody to stay positive(which I agreed with you on). Now it’s looking quite promising(the pattern anyway) and things could be lining up, and you’re going the other way? You kind of just took away any shred of credibility/believability/and seriousness to your posting abilities.
  5. Lol...just trying to keep things upbeat and in perspective. It’s a good look..in fact really good. Sure we can strike out(and maybe we do), but we’ll have some shots. And that’s all anybody can ask for..in anything. And being a PE Teacher that’s what I do most all day...coach.
  6. Point taken. But I’d rather it look great/weenieish, than not look so good going forward from where we are. No guarantees with anything weather related, but I’ll take that look any day. We take. And we take our chances. So chin up now. And let’s see what transpires?
  7. That’s a great look..so if what is modeled is close to that, I think we’d all take our chances with that type of look. Especially during the heart/height of winter. We Take.
  8. Ok thanks. I knew it was two years in a row..and ‘18 was one of them. Just wasn’t sure if it was the year after or before? Thanks for clearing that up.
  9. I believe it was both years in a row....
  10. Can we get it under day 10 though.
  11. Don’t sell it cuz I meant “Melt” in the sense that folks were coming unhinged(Melting) in SNE that year big time. And it flipped and the rest was history. That was the point...not melting literally lol.
  12. You add the -NAO to a couple of those events in 19 and it could have have been a whole lot more snow, verses the Ice we got. Not a bad look imo.
  13. Not relying on anything..just stating some previous facts in my post..nothing more. Lots of seasons were non starters way past this one currently. And I’m not banking on a top 10 season at all. Just normal snowfall will be fine for me. And I think that’s more than attainable at this current juncture. Nothing more intended.
  14. Not trying to beat a dead horse...but ‘15 didn’t get rolling until 1/27. Melts galore up to that point. Now before everybody goes ape-shit and says ‘15 isn’t walking in, I agree; and I’m not suggesting that. The point is...plenty of big hits/seasons that we look back on with great fondness, did not get going until very late January, and sometimes even after that. I’ll take our chances with a -PNA and some -EPO along with a -NAO, that’s not a bad set up imo. Bring it.
  15. Well the month is 10 days in(1/3), 2/3 yet to go. You may end up being right, and The next 3 weeks of January we get shut out? That’s always a possibility? However, I’m not thinking that happens. After a while the law of averages catch up with everything, and we can’t dodge every bullet. At least that’s my take. But I get the frustration...but lots of winter to go. Things will shift and we’ll have our chances imo.
  16. Yes sir..in about 9.5-10 weeks. The birds(sparrows and chickadee’s) chirp here all winter..especially when the sun is out.
  17. But when is the two week forecast EVER accurate? C’mon now. Getting a little too dramatic here.
  18. Northern Aroostook looks pretty decent considering the lack of snow. Saw many pictures of them grooming yesterday, and it looked better than I imagined. A good 6-10 inches up there and it’ll be really good.
  19. Ok...I guess it’s how you look at it? I see what you mean now.
  20. Where do you live...Florida? Leaves emerging on a dogwood tree in January? Not here where I live. No plants coming up here either. Maybe down on the shoreline? Not here in inland CT. No buds that are ready to burst, and certainly no leaves either that’s for sure. But enjoy the early green up...
